Samina Baig and Mirza Ali, brother and sister from Shimshal Valley, Gojal (Upper Hunza), have reached Nepal to scale the Mount Everest.
The attempt to scale Mount Everest, the world's highest peak, has been dedicated to the cause of spreading gender equality in Paksitan and across the world.
It is pertinent to note that Samina Baig had won national fame after climbing an unnamed peak in the Karakoram region. It was later named "Samina Peak", in recognition of the brave step taken by Samina.
