Potato Pizza

All you need is:
Potatoes
Pizza Sauce
Chicken Chunks
Veggies (I didn’t have any)
Cheese (optional)

Method:
Thinly slice potatoes
Bake/Air fry them for 10-15 mins
Layer your potatoes with everything
Bake again for 5 mins
And THAT’S IT.

Protein Coffee

If you’re struggling to hit your protein target everyday, here’s a simple hack.

Add protein powder to your coffee.

Recipe:
1 scoop protein powder
1/2 cup water
1 cup ice
1 espresso shot

Optional modifications:
I used Macchiato flavoured protein powder, but vanilla works just fine.

You can add milk, I don’t like it.

You can also add ice cream (which I usually do, but not in this one)


P.S. I don’t know people make ASMR videos in brown households. Someone always has something really important to say ALL. THE. TIME.

Embrace your evolution

I’ve always been someone who wanted to be the leanest, so I would eat and train accordingly. But lately I’ve wanted to build muscle which also means that I have to eat more and be okay with a higher number on the scale, a bigger size in clothes.

I’ve tried to do this multiple times before, but failed because of my bad relationship with food and just couldn’t accept either one of those things.

This time around, I’m giving it a go another time after working hard to improve my relationship with food.

The point of this story is that it is okay to look a little different and embrace your evolution as long as it leads to a healthier and happier you.

Progressive Overload on a Squat

If you don’t want to lift heavy yet but want to increase the intensity of your squat, here’s a few things you can do:

- add tempo, this will increase time under tension
- reduce rest time
- lifting the load for increased distance (like in this video; 1 1/4 squat)
- increase volume (number of sets or reps)

These exercises will help you gain more control in the movement and allow you to draw attention to the muscles being used (especially for beginners).

Strawberry Protein Shake

Put the following ingredients in the blender
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 scoop creatine
- 100g frozen strawberries
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream

*for better results mix the protein powder with water first.

* add ice/water for based on your desired consistency.

This is my post workout shake, but works as any meal really.
