Happy International Men's Day 🌟
"Celebrating Men and Boys" is a powerful theme that resonates deeply. Our recent sessions with clients have been truly enlightening, exploring topics like masculinity, mental health, and wellbeing. These discussions have challenged participants and our team to rethink traditional notions of masculinity and understand the impact of societal norms.
Meaningful sharing of stories and experiences has highlighted the need for open communication, seeking help, and breaking cycles. We're committed to continuing this conversation and creating a more inclusive, empathetic community.
Together, let's break down barriers and foster kindness, compassion and understanding 💪

Dengue fever outbreak! It's frustrating to see this spreading 🤬
Over the last two weeks, dengue fever cases have surged, putting a strain on our healthcare system. We are all aware of the ways to prevent dengue fever, and it's shocking to see how quickly it's spreading and impacting our communities.
We've had an influx of calls from our health plan members and hospitalizations, and it's even affected our employees and their families.
Take Action:
🚮 Eliminate standing water around your home
🦟 Use mosquito repellents
👕 Wear protective clothing
💡 Know the symptoms (high fever, severe headache, joint pain, skin rash) and seek medical help if needed

This year's theme for World Diabetes Day is all about wellbeing in the workplace. This year, we’re sharing the story of a 22-year-old beneficiary who joined our New Beginnings program during her first pregnancy: a journey that took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with gestational diabetes in her second trimester.
Through Naya Jeevan’s integrated care model, she was seamlessly enrolled into our Diabetes Management Program, where our endocrinologist and care coordinators supported her through every step from insulin management and regular screenings to postpartum recovery and newborn care. Outcome? Healthy mother and child.

Pakistan is drowning, and it's not just Karachi. The entire country is suffering from devastating floods and landslides 🚨
We've talked about climate change for years, but words aren't enough. Awareness has grown, conversations are getting louder, but our response has been painfully slow.
Will we finally match our words with action or will future generations ask, 'What were they waiting for?'

A Wake-Up Call for Pakistan: 50% of Heart Attack Patients Are Under 49
A report published by DawnNews yesterday highlighted these alarming stats:
👉 50% of heart attack patients are under 49
👉 12-15% are under 40
These statistics underscore the growing concern of heart disease in Pakistan, driven by key risk factors including diabetes, hypertension, obesity, smoking, and unhealthy lifestyles.
At Naya Jeevan, we believe health insurance alone isn't enough. That's why we're focused on preventive healthcare – to prevent disease, detect health issues early, and manage conditions before it's too late.
Our Focus:
✔️ Preventive health screenings: Catch potential issues early.
✔️ Early diagnosis: Identify diseases when they're more treatable.
✔️ Chronic disease management: Help patients manage conditions.
✔️ Promoting healthy lifestyles: Encourage habits that reduce disease risk.
Insurance is just the starting point. Partner with us to find out how to reduce risk in your employees and boost their well-being – and your bottom line: [email protected]

Our team is busy preparing back-to-school gifts for children in our signature health and education insurance programs. This is just one part of our comprehensive initiative. We work closely with mothers to ensure their kids are not only equipped with the right supplies, but also receive the health and wellness support they need to thrive.
Through our program, mothers receive personalized guidance on health, nutrition, and development from our in-house paediatricians, empowering them to support their children's growth. And as a special touch, we're including a small token to get kids excited about learning!
