This is what happens when you prioritize T20s over ODIs and Tests. Players focus more on T20 leagues to make big bucks and the board has no say in it.

In all honesty, I now don't want West Indies to qualify as it could a big eye opener for them. Most importantly, their performances in the past World Cups have been quite disappointing.

Pakistan cricket team at its absolute worst when it comes to making "potentially good" players into superstars. From giving six wickets to Colin de Grandhomme in his debut test match to allowing Zack Crawly score a daddy hundred in England, we make the futures of so many at best average players.

The worrying part is that we usually get the big guns fairly cheap at the start of each match, but then give away the applied pressure and let the novices score big or take wickets.

Rehan Ahmed of Englad is another example of that....When will we finally learn?

Hopefully he becomes another top performer in Pakistan's fast bowling arsenal.

During last 2 years in Pakistan Cricket. Shahnawaz Dahani had the worst job sitting out of the team. But he was positive where ever he traveled, enjoyed that country. Not many of the players do that. Although he had more tours than matches, but never complained rather brought positive energy to Pakistan's dressing room and crowd as well.
Dahani worked very hard to set up his career. We might not know but he gets his regular place for Pakistan team by being Top wicket taker in every tournament he plays. he Remained 2nd highest wicket-taker in Quide Azam Trophy 2020-21, higest wicket taker in PSL6 2021, Top wicket-taker in National T20 Cup 2021, again in 2022 he was 3rd highest wicket taker after Shadab & Shaheen in PSL7, he also took most wickets by fast bowler in Pakistan oneday cup 2022. So for every tournament he had played remained in list of Top 3.
We must appreciate his positivity and patience. He is a loyal asset of Pakistan, who always smiles even not being part of playingX1.
So please pick him pak vs england test series squad.

Criticism aside but this 28 years old person has taken team to one Semi and two Finals in three tournaments and didn't touch trophy in any occasions. You gotta feel for this man. He just reminds me of Williamson who came close everytime yet so far. I am very much sure redemptions are on card. This man will give Pakistan trophy in future. He's not like some famous names who make team to have shameful exist in group stage and then losing the captaincy subsequently. Dear Bobby, we are proud of you for fight and stand you have taken for team. Yes we fell short but you have many tournaments ahead. You will win us in future and we believe you will do.

I have been reading on a few platforms something that truly disturbs me as a cricket fan. That Shaheen Afridi intentionally faked his injury.

People are saying that he couldn't handle the pressure and faked his injury. While it is understandable there was pressure on him, these baseless accusations are nothing more than some people venting their frustration after Pakistan's loss (we're humans, after all).

The important point to understand is that PCB did handle his case improperly and in a bit of a rush. He is our premium bowler and needs extra care. We hope Pakistan team learns from this and focuses on fitness more than ever before.

It was nice to see Misbah & Shoaib Malik acknowledge Younus Khan’s leadership yesterday.

It would have better had they also apologised for the role they played in his removal as captain.
