KAMRAN GILL - Evangelical/Community Development Trainer
Kamran Gill was born and raised in a Christian family in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
He is a 3rd generation Christian after converting from Sikhism. He received Jesus Christ as his personal savior & was baptized at the age of 20; he also received the baptism of the Holy Spirit through the childhood influence of his Godly parents and church. He surrendered his life to the Lord at an early age and was active with Sunday school and in his youth. He heard the call of God to the minist
ry at the age of 22, and became burdened for youth. He carries that burden to this day. He started working in the IT field for a year and then God showed him the way to serve HIM and HIS people. In 1994, he joined The Salvation Army Pakistan as part of the Community Development team as he had a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Punjab University. He worked 18 years and ran many community development & evangelical projects to bring many lives to Jesus. He also helped to bring financial and social revival in the community without any discrimination of creed, s*x and religion. His primary work was among Muslims and Hindus to sow the seed of truth and eternal life. He became certified as a micro-entrepreneurship trainer from National Center of Rural Development, Government of Pakistan in 1996. He entered Faith Theological Seminary in 2002 and graduated in 2006 with a degree in Theology. He married Purnima Gill in 2002 and God blessed them with a beautiful daughter, Shifa. Later in 2011, his wife went to her heavenly father after 8 years of kidney failure. He continued to serve the Lord and HIS people all around Pakistan. In 2012, he has faced extreme persecution and an assassination attempt which took him out of Pakistan to Michigan, USA. He remarried again in 2015 and his daughter immigrated to the United States in November, 2015. Kamran, his wife Laura and daughter Shifa now reside in Woodstock, Virginia. EVANGELISM / REVIVAL WORK
Kamran first served at church as a youth minister for 8 years. He continued to carry a burden for young people and continued to serve over 20 years with different churches, ministries and youth groups. He continued to feel the leading of the Lord for the cause of Evangelism & Revival throughout the country and especially to reach the non-Christians through evangelism. His desire is to continue to minister to the young and old alike through evangelical training. He has had great evangelical experience through social media; he has brought many young souls to the Lord through counseling and teaching from all around the world in such countries as India, Dubai, Pakistan, England, Switzerland, South Africa, USA and Canada. Worked with Campus Crusade for Christ Pakistan, OM Team (Operation Mobilization) Pakistan, PFES - Pakistan Fellowship of Evangelical Students, Church of Pakistan, and Caritas Pakistan. He is a full time Evangelist with Portering the Glory International Ministry Edinburg, VA and offers evangelism training to help Christians reach the un-reached and preach the word of God.
