NEWS RELEASE
The Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB) proudly announced the organization of a Baseball5 event scheduled to be held on the coming Saturday and Sunday in Jamrud, marking another important step in promoting the fast-growing format of baseball in the region.
The event is being conducted in collaboration with Naqqash Sports, whose support is contributing to the smooth arrangements and promotion of the sport at the grassroots level.
The Pakistan Federation Baseball appreciated the efforts of Amin Afridi, while recognizing that Khawer Shah Baseball Academy Jamrud continues to make valuable contributions to baseball activities. The Federation encourages other academies to follow this example and actively participate in the development of the sport.
President of the Pakistan Federation Baseball, Dr. Hamood Lakhwi, along with General Secretary Tahir Mehmood, appreciated the initiative and commended the organizers for their continued efforts in developing baseball at the grassroots level.
Officials emphasized that such events are essential for identifying and nurturing young talent, while also strengthening the future of Baseball5 in Pakistan.

Dr. Muhammad Hamood Lakhvi, President of the Pakistan Federation Baseball, distributed certificates among participants of the Level 1 Baseball Coaching Course. The ceremony recognized the successful completion of training by emerging coaches and officials.
The event was attended by Mr. Tahir Mehmood secretary General PFB , mr Jamil, Kamran chairman umpiring association , and chairman coaching association Mr.Sarfraz Ahmed, who also graced the occasion alongside the President. They appreciated the efforts of the participants and encouraged them to continue developing their coaching skills to promote baseball at the grassroots level in Pakistan.

🇵🇰 Top Pakistani Pitchers Shine
Faisal Hayat (Kasur), Musharraf Khan (Peshawar), and Hussain Imam Shah (Pakpattan) have been picked by the Japanese Baseball League. Special thanks to Coach Kazuto Nonaka-san for recognizing their talent.
Players not yet selected should focus on Japanese (N4 level), English, and baseball skills. Strong communication and performance will increase their chances. We hope more players get selected soon.

U-12 NATIONAL BASEBALL PLAYER REGISTRATION – 2026
The Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB) invites young baseball players from across Pakistan to register for the U-12 National Baseball Program – 2026, which will include upcoming inter-city, provincial, and national development events across Pakistan.

• Players must be born in 2014 or 2015
• Must have a valid NADRA Birth Certificate or Passport

Players must submit the following documents for registration:
• Copy of NADRA Birth Certificate or Passport
• Player information and contact details
All documents must be sent to the email or WhatsApp numbers listed below.
Players and parents may also contact local regional baseball associations, Khawar Shah Baseball Academies, and certified Pakistan Federation Baseball coaches for assistance with the registration process.

Important Note
All documents are compulsory. To obtain the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Pakistan Sports Board, the Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB) must submit all player documents at least 8 weeks before any international event in order to receive the NOC prior to travel.

Selection & Participation
Inter-city and provincial matches will be organized as part of the U-12 development program.
After the matches, top players will be selected for the Pakistan U-12 National Camp.
Players selected from the national camp may represent Pakistan in upcoming U-12 international events.
All expenses for selected players will be covered by the Pakistan Federation Baseball.
Only players who submit complete and verified documents will be eligible for international participation in 2026.

In a thrilling 9-inning clash, University of Central Punjab (UCP) emerged victorious over Punjab University with a convincing 13–7 win, claiming the title of Inter-University Baseball Champions.
UCP’s strong batting lineup and disciplined fielding ensured they maintained control throughout the match, leaving Punjab University unable to stage a comeback.

Young Players Recognized at Syed Khawar Shah National Baseball Academy yar hussian swabi
Swabi — The Syed Khawar Shah National Baseball Academy, Yar Hussain Swabi, recognized two of its Under-15 players, Sikandar Sher and Ehtram, with special awards for their outstanding discipline, commitment, and consistent attendance throughout the year.
The awards were presented by Head Coach Khalid Khan and Chief Organizer Shiraz Khan, who appreciated the players for maintaining exemplary behavior and dedication to training.
The academy continues to focus on developing young talent by promoting discipline, sportsmanship, and skill development, preparing athletes for higher levels of competitive baseball.

Peshawar Region Wins KP Under-21 Regional Baseball Championship
Peshawar — The Peshawar Region baseball team secured the title in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Under-21 Regional Games after defeating Mardan Region in the final.
The championship match featured competitive play, with Peshawar delivering a strong all-round performance to claim victory. The team displayed consistency in batting, pitching, and fielding throughout the contest.
A notable number of players representing Peshawar Region are trained at the Khawar Shah Baseball Academy in Ghundi, Tehsil Jamrud, District Khyber, highlighting the continued development of baseball talent in the area.
