We are excited to share that 5 chess sets have been successfully delivered to Divisional Public School, Township, Lahore. These sets were generously provided by The Gift of Chess, a global organization committed to spreading the benefits of chess in educational institutions and communities.

WNM Noor Fatima Rashid Elected President of Lahore Chess Club

The decision was made in the General Body Meeting of the club. Women National Master Noor Fatima Rashid is one of Pakistan’s prominent chess players, and her experience and dedication to the game will greatly contribute to the growth of chess in Lahore.

Mr. Muhammad Saad, General Secretary of the Lahore District Chess Association and Patron-in-Chief of Lahore Chess Club, visited National Grammar School, Model Town Campus, Lahore.

During the visit, he presented chess sets to the school and shared valuable insights with the students about the game of chess. He highlighted how learning and practicing chess can significantly enhance strategic thinking, concentration, decision-making, and problem-solving skills among young students. The session aimed to encourage students to take interest in chess and develop their intellectual abilities through the game.

Lahore District Inter School Chess Championship 2026 – Under 20 Category Results

The Lahore District Inter School Chess Championship 2026 also featured highly competitive matches in the Under 20 category, where senior students demonstrated strong tactical understanding, strategic depth, and excellent sportsmanship.

Dr. Muhammad Rafi Khan (Tournament Director) and Muhammad Saad (Chief Organizer), along with officials from the LACAS A Levels Management, distributed prizes among the winners and appreciated the players for their outstanding performances.

A special thanks to Gift of Chess for generously providing chess sets to all winners, encouraging young players to further develop their skills in the game.
