This is what Babar is in the playing XI for. Saving Pakistan from a collapse and using his experience to build the innings.
Last game, he needed to stay there but got out playing an unnecessary shot. Which made the fans mad, questioning what sort of situation will he ever come handy in if not this.
Tonight, after 2 wickets in 1 over, he's quietly built a partnership with Farhan before starting to accelerate.
It's not wise to expect Babar to be playing at a strike-rate of 200. That's just not his game.
At No.4, he needs to save Pakistan from a collapse like he did today and not let the run-rate take too bad a hit.
If he can manage to do that often enough, he'll have done his job.
