Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority and Handicraft Development Center, PSIC Multan entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote collaboration in the fields of technical education, vocational training, and skill development.
The MoU was formally signed by Regional Director Ms. Ammara Manzoor and the District Placement Officer Muhammad Talhah. The agreement aims to create greater opportunities for students and trainees through practical exposure, hands-on learning, and capacity-building initiatives aligned with industry requirements.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to strengthening workforce development, encouraging entrepreneurship, and enhancing employability through quality technical and vocational education.
Handicraft Development Center Multan (HDC Multan) proudly presents its yearly highlights showcasing skill development, creativity, traditional crafts, and empowerment.
This year, HDC Multan successfully conducted multiple professional and creative courses including:

Alhamdulillah, against the target of 90 trainees, HDC Multan successfully trained 156 trainees and completed 9 courses instead of the planned 4 courses.

A prestigious and memorable event was held at Handicraft Development Center Multan, where respected Master Ustads participated and beautifully showcased their traditional skills and craftsmanship.
During the event, the Master Ustads demonstrated their remarkable artistic talent, which was highly appreciated by the audience. In recognition of their valuable contributions and dedication to preserving traditional crafts, they were honored with "Dastar Bandi" and presented with shields.
This event was a wonderful tribute to our cultural heritage, traditional arts, and the hardworking artisans who keep these crafts alive.

Ms. Farah Saqib, President of Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Multan, was warmly welcomed by Ms. Ammara Manzoor Khan, Regional Director PSIC, at the post-project display held at the Handicraft Development Center Multan. On the occasion, Ms. Farah Saqib distributed shields among the Ustad artisans in recognition of their exceptional skills, while Ms. Ammara Manzoor Khan presented a commemorative shield to the honorable guest in appreciation of her presence.

The post-project display at the Handicraft Development Center was a wonderful celebration of talent, hard work, and cultural heritage. Ms. Ammara Manzoor Khan (Regional Director) and the PSIC team warmly welcomed Dr. Nadir Magsi, Director ORIC, Emerson University Multan, who graced the occasion as a guest. During the event, certificates were distributed among the trainees, prizes were awarded to the top 3 students of the Naqashi competition, shields were presented to the artisans, and Dr. Nadir Magsi performed the "Dastar Bandi" of honorable Ustad Artisans. It was a proud moment for skill development, artistic excellence, and tradition.

A proud and memorable occasion unfolded at the Handicraft Development Center as we were honored to host Mr. Fuad Hashim Rabbani, Additional Chief Secretary South Punjab, as our esteemed Chief Guest.
The post-project exhibition beautifully showcased the dedication, creativity, and cultural heritage of our talented artisans and trainees. Certificates were distributed among the trainees in recognition of their hard work and commitment, while the top three winners of the Naqashi competition were awarded prizes for their outstanding performance. Shields were also presented to the artisans in appreciation of their craftsmanship.
A particularly distinguished moment of the ceremony was “Dastar Bandi” of the honorable Ustad Artisans, symbolizing respect, recognition, and the preservation of our rich traditional heritage.
During the visit, the Additional Chief Secretary appreciated and recognized the valuable efforts of PSIC in promoting skill development, empowering artisans, and preserving traditional handicrafts across the region.
