09/05/2026

Australia is not just a country; it is a home built on respect, hard work, mateship, freedom, and community spirit. From the golden wattle to the Southern Cross, every symbol reminds us that we are stronger when we stand together. Proud to be part of this beautiful land and grateful for the people who make Australia special.

She had just given birth to their first child.
Hours later, she was dead.

In a shocking and heartbreaking incident in Alabama, USA, a 24-year-old new mother, Precious Johnson, was shot and killed inside a hospital room only hours after delivering her baby. Police say the shooter was her 19-year-old husband, Kynath Terry Jr., who then turned the gun on himself in what authorities described as a domestic-related murder-suicide.

The tragedy happened on 1 March 2026 at Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital in Homewood, Alabama.

The newborn baby was unharmed — but will now grow up without both parents.

A moment that should have been filled with joy and celebration turned into an unimaginable tragedy.

Sometimes the world reminds us how fragile life truly is.

“I am not a monster, I am not a thief, and I am not dangerous. I am just a small life who was hungry and searching for a little food to survive. This snap trap hurts me so badly, my body is in pain and I cannot move, every second feels heavy and frightening. I did nothing wrong, I didn’t come here to harm anyone, I only followed my hunger because I wanted to live. But humans look at me with fear and hate, they think I am something evil, something to destroy. They never ask why I came, they never see my pain, they never feel my fear. This trap is breaking my body and my heart at the same time. I wish someone could see me not as a monster or a thief, but as a living being who feels pain, who feels fear, and who only wanted a chance to eat and live peacefully. Please understand me, please show a little kindness, because my life also matters.” copied

Jj getting in some much needed balance practice….. under close supervision of course! Isn’t it amazing how kangaroos use their tail for balance…… like a tight-rope balancing pole. Kangaroos use five points of their body for balance and movement, it’s also known as pentapedal locomotion. Keep up the good work Jj. We love you Jj! Xo

With so many in bandages and them needing to be changed daily, not all get done in daylight. Another late night for me to get the last ones done.
