Honor killing is one of the most heartbreaking and brutal forms of injustice still haunting our society. There is no honor in taking a life—especially of someone you were meant to protect, to love, and to support. It is not culture, it is not tradition—it is cold-blooded murder, wrapped in centuries of silence and fear. Every time a girl is silenced in the name of so-called honor, a part of our humanity dies with her. These crimes don’t protect dignity; they destroy families, futures, and generations. Until we, as a society, have the courage to stand up and say enough—to challenge these toxic mindsets and break this cycle of violence—true justice will remain a distant dream.

Mitchell Starc’s 100th Test is more than a round number—it’s a celebration of resilience, strategic management, and peak performance. With ~395 wickets to his name and a shot at 400, he's cementing his place among Australia’s greatest pacers. As he continues, all eyes are on that coveted fourth-figure wicket mark.

This is not just a win—it’s a statement. India showed resilience, strategic brilliance, and adaptability outside subcontinental conditions. Akash Deep announced himself, Gill cemented his captaincy credentials, and the team demonstrated that it can win tough places like Edgbaston even without key players like Bumrah. They beat England by a huge margin—336 runs—at Edgbaston today, leveling the five-match Test series 1‑1.

What made this win special:

First-ever Test win at Edgbaston:
India had played eight Tests there over decades, losing seven and drawing one. Today's victory ends that 58‑year jinx.

Akash Deep’s stellar bowling:
He took a match haul of 10 wickets—six in the second innings—effectively sealing the game.

Shubman Gill’s leadership with the bat:
The young captain scored a massive 269 in the first innings and followed it up with a century (161), leading from the front.

Depth of bowling attack shines:
With Jasprit Bumrah rested, Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep stepped up magnificently. Siraj grabbed six early wickets, and Deep finished the job.

The narrative now swings to Lord’s—if India can build on this momentum, the dream of a Test series win in England is very real.

From under the radar to under the spotlight!

🔥 A day to remember in Test cricket!
Wiaan Mulder rose like a true leader, scripting history with a breathtaking double century on his captaincy debut.

Here are the highlights of his incredible performance:

Captaincy debut and double century:
Mulder became only the third Test captain in history to score a double‑hundred on debut, following Graham Dowling (239 in 1968) and Shivnarine Chanderpaul (203* in 2005).

Most runs in a day by a South African:
By the close of play, Mulder’s 264* came entirely within a single day’s play—making it the highest individual day’s score by any South African in Test cricket.

Explosive rate and milestone moments:
He reached his century in just 118 balls, double century in 214, and reached 250 off 243 deliveries. He ended the day with 35 boundaries in a breathtaking display.

Record books galore:
Beyond the captaincy debut record, his effort ranks sixth on the all‑time list for most runs by a batter in a single day’s Test innings.

A Prince rises in his kingdom.

Shubman Gill smashed a maiden double century (269) against England at Edgbaston in only his second Test as captain. That monumental knock makes him:

Only the third Indian ever to score a Test double-hundred in England, and the first Indian captain to do so on English soil.

The first Asian captain to record a double ton in any SENA country.

Holder of the highest Test score by an Indian captain in England (269), surpassing Azharuddin’s 179 and Virat Kohli’s 149.

Now one of an elite group: captains with back-to-back centuries in their first two Tests—he’s the fourth Indian captain to achieve that, joining the likes of Virat Kohli, Sunil Gavaskar, and Vijay Hazare.
