Your kindness lasted just a while,
Like fading echoes of a smile.

Whispers of the Heart
I spoke to the stars, but they didn’t reply,
Just flickered and faded in a moonlit sky.
I poured out my soul to the silent night,
Yet the echoes returned with a hollow light.
The wind knew my name but carried it far,
Like a wish ungranted, like a broken star.
The river ran deep with secrets untold,
Yet never paused for a hand to hold.

A shadow dissolved in the golden sunbeam.
But even in silence, I hear you near,
A whisper, a memory, forever sincere.
Lost in Yesterday
