Madiha Naz Jakhro – Youth Ambassador of Pakistan & Founder of Al-Mehran Girls Sports Academy

From Thatta, Sindh, where girls are often confined to boundaries and sports are taboo, Madiha Naz Jakhro chose courage over silence. Inspired by her father’s love for football, she discovered her passion at age 10 and turned it into a movement of empowerment.

In 2011, through the Right to Play program, she realized how sports could build confidence and life skills. With resilience, she went on to establish the first girls’ sports academy in her district, creating a safe space for girls to learn, play, and dream. Today, her academy also supports education, personal growth, and children with special needs.

Recognized globally, Madiha has represented Pakistan in over 85 international forums as a Youth Ambassador, GA4Good Ambassador, and FIFA Ambassador. Her mission is clear: to use sports as a tool for education, empowerment, and change in rural Sindh.
