Rajd Budapest Bamako to przygoda, wyzwanie i adrenalina.
Ale dla nas to też misja.

W tym roku jednym z naszych zadań było dostarczenie kul i sprzętu ortopedycznego do szpitala St John of God w Sierra Leone.

Podjęliśmy współpracę z Orthopedics for the Developing World - organizacją, która dostarcza pomoc ortopedyczną do krajów rozwijających się i realnie zmienia życie dzieci, które bez tej pomocy nie miałyby szans na normalne funkcjonowanie.

Plan planem, ale historia napisała jednak własny scenariusz.
Gdy nasz Nissan Patrol odmówił współpracy na granicy Mauretanii, musieliśmy podjąć szybką decyzję. Cały sprzęt medyczny przekazaliśmy do innego auta - Patrola naszych przyjaciół.

I to oni dowieźli pomoc na miejsce.
Sprzęt trafił do szpitala.
Dzieci otrzymały wsparcie.

Misja wykonana.

Ogromne podziękowania dla Klaudii, Karoliny, Tomka i Rafała za przejęcie pałeczki i doprowadzenie tej historii do właściwego finału ❤️

Die Budapest Bamako Rallye ist Abenteuer, Herausforderung und Adrenalin.
Für uns ist sie aber auch eine Mission.

In diesem Jahr war es eines unserer Ziele, Krücken und orthopädische Hilfsmittel an das St John of God Krankenhaus in Sierra Leone zu liefern.

Wir haben mit Orthopedics for the Developing World zusammengearbeitet — einer Organisation, die orthopädische Hilfe in Entwicklungsländer bringt und das Leben von Kindern nachhaltig verändert, die sonst kaum eine Chance auf normale Mobilität hätten.

Pläne sind das eine. Die Realität schreibt ihre eigenen Geschichten.

Als unser Nissan Patrol an der mauretanischen Grenze den Dienst verweigerte, mussten wir schnell entscheiden. Die gesamte medizinische Ausrüstung haben wir in einen anderen Patrol unserer Freunde umgeladen.

Sie haben es geschafft.
Die Hilfsgüter kamen im Krankenhaus an.
Die Kinder haben Unterstützung erhalten.

Mission erfüllt.

The Budapest Bamako rally is adventure, challenge and adrenaline.
But for us, it’s also a mission.

This year, one of our goals was to deliver crutches and orthopaedic equipment to St John of God Hospital in Sierra Leone.

We partnered with Orthopaedics for the Developing World — an organisation providing orthopaedic support in developing countries and genuinely changing the lives of children who would otherwise have no chance at normal mobility.

Plans are one thing. Reality writes its own script.

When our Patrol broke down at the Mauritanian border, we had to make a quick decision. We transferred all the medical equipment to another Patrol driven by our friends.

They made it.
The equipment reached the hospital.
The children received support.

Mission accomplished.

Zostawiamy Wielbłąda na chwilę w doborowym towarzystwie. Myślicie, że będzie mu tu dobrze?

Nie każda droga prowadzi do celu. Tym razem z powodów technicznych musieliśmy się wycofać z Rajdu Załoga #129 w porządku. Holujemy Wielbłąda do Marrakech.

This time, for technical reasons, we had to withdraw from the rally.
The # 129 crew is safe. We’re towing the Camel to Marrakech.

Dieses Mal mussten wir uns aus technischen Gründen von der -Rallye zurückziehen.
Die #129 Crew ist in Ordnung. Wir schleppen den Camel nach Marrakesch.
