ts. The association is the fruit of joint cooperation between a group of specialists in tourism and different mountain sports field and a group of volunteers who are concern about that. The idea of PAMSD hold in it social and health values, so the association aims to increase the relation between the people and the land and work to empower the Palestinians to discover their land by themselves and to achieve good level of Knowledge which they don't have yet.. On the other side the nature has an important effect in decreasing the stress and depression and many other chronic diseases. We believe that walking is an humanitarian necessity and existential it could be a special experience which has lot of benefits. PAMSD Mission
Raise the awareness and increasing the concern in mountain sports and make it acceptable and part of the community culture. Increasing the community awareness about their rights to discover and know their land. We aimed at leadership and excellence in the deployment of these sports in society all over Palestine and to encourage all community sectors specially the youth to discover their land and observe their identity. and form other prospective. we work to increase the awareness of the importance of the mountain sports and its psychological, social, spiritual and health benefits

we look forward to achieve these goals :
1. Increasing the awareness in the Palestinian community for the importance of walk and mountain sports, environment protection and working to find new generation who aware of their goals and able to practice them.
2. Involve the women in new activities were not exist before. protecting the children and youth from the violence and anger through walking and practicing sport activities.
3. Give the opportunity for group of youth to get a job through working as local tour guides.
4. Reconnecting the Palestinian people to come out of the mental state and geography of isolation and walking in existing trails in different areas without borders .
5. Development in different aspects specially in area C ( rural areas ) .
6. Researching study for the historical trails in Palestine and make them as a reading text for the students at Palestinian schools and universities. we look for a fruitful cooperation for this with the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Education and the youth council
PAMSD Programs :-
1. Training for local guides to es**rt groups for hiking, climbing, camping and cycling
2. Establishing sport and cultural clubs at Palestinian schools and universities
3. Psychological discharge program through hiking and sport for all.
4. Work on putting a guide book for the caravans, natural, religious, military and historical trails in Palestine .
