🇵🇸 From the Rubble, He Rose — At the 2025 Asian Weightlifting Championships in Jiangshan, China 🇵🇸

After months of war, injury, and loss, Palestinian champion Mohammad Hamada stood tall on the platform—lifting not just weights, but the spirit of a nation.

🏅 6th Place in Asia
🏋️‍♂️ 166 kg sn**ch | 185 kg clean & jerk

He lost 18 kg of muscle. He trained under fire. He rose from the rubble to raise the flag.

“This is just the beginning of my story. I will continue—for Palestine.”

In Jiangshan, the world saw a lifter.
We saw resistance in motion.
You can't bomb away determination.
You can't silence a flag rising from the ashes.

Mohammad Hamada lifts for Gaza. Lifts for Palestine. Lifts for all of us.

🇵🇸 We remember Nagham. We honor her story. We carry her dream forward. 🇵🇸

Nagham Abu Samra, a 26-year-old Palestinian karate champion from Gaza, whose journey was tragically cut short by an Israeli airstrike on December 17, 2023.
Nagham's passion for karate began in her childhood, leading her to achieve a black belt and secure top positions in national championships. She earned both bachelor's and master's degrees in Physical Education from Al-Aqsa University and established a sports training club for girls in Gaza, empowering them to find strength through sport.
In 2017 and 2018, she won second place in the Palestine Karate Championship, and first place in the Gaza Strip and she was expected to represent Palestine in the 2024 Summer Olympics. However, an airstrike on her home in the Nuseirat refugee camp not only claimed her sister's life but also left Nagham critically injured. Despite efforts to transfer her abroad for treatment, she succumbed to her injuries on January 12, 2024.
Nagham's story is a poignant reminder of the countless dreams crushed by the genocide war against Palestinian people. Her legacy continues to inspire resilience and hope within the Palestinian community and beyond.

🚨 Palestinian Sports Under Attack: A Call for Justice 🚨
Since October 7, 2023, Palestinian sports in Gaza have faced unimaginable destruction. Israel’s war machine has targeted stadiums, athletes, and even children playing in the streets.
🔴 +265 sports facilities destroyed, including historic venues like Palestine Stadium.
🔴 +560 athletes, coaches, and officials killed—dreams crushed, futures stolen.
🔴 Gaza’s sports scene, already weakened by years of blockade, is now on the brink of collapse.
🔴 In the West Bank, athletes face military checkpoints and suffocating restrictions.
Despite the devastation, Palestinian athletes refuse to surrender their dreams. The Palestine Olympic Committee has demanded accountability, filing complaints with the International Olympic Committee and global federations.
But the world remains silent.
They destroy stadiums, but they will never break our spirit.

The beautiful game of football should unite—not oppress. Yet, Israeli settlement clubs continue to play on stolen Palestinian land, violating FIFA’s statutes, the Olympic Charter, and international law.

🔴 Nine Israeli clubs—including Beitar Ma’aleh Adumim, Beitar Givat Ze’ev, and Maccabi Ariel—operate in illegal settlements, built on confiscated Palestinian territory. These clubs receive state funding while Palestinian athletes face travel bans, stadium destruction, and military violence.

⚖️ FIFA must: Ban settlement clubs as it did with Russian/Crimean teams; Suspend the Israel Football Association (IFA) for complicity in apartheid.
📢 The world of sport cannot remain silent.
—sanction these violations NOW!
