Smaltita l’emozione per aver conquistato il titolo Italiano 2023 nella classe Supersport 600NG, un altro appuntamento importante ci attende, con la prestigiosa wild card nel WorldSSP a Jerez de la Frontera.

Il neo campione italiano, Simone Corsi, torna al mondiale per la terza volta nel 2023 e lo fa con tanta voglia di dimostrare quanto sia meritato il titolo tricolore conquistato alla sua primissima stagione su una moto da corsa derivata di serie. La pista andalusa non è sconosciuta al campione romano dove, come nei precedenti casi di Assen e Misano, vi ha gareggiato per tutta la carriera. Sarà un ulteriore banco di prova per confermare la sua acquisita bravura in questa categoria e cogliere un bel risultato che possa fare da sigillo ad una stagione gloriosa.

Per tutto il team AltoGo sarà un’altra prova da non mancare in quello che per un paio di stagioni è stato il terreno di conquista del titolo europeo WorldSSP Challenge, entro il quale la squadra di Giovanni Altomonte si è sempre ben distinta. L’adrenalina è al massimo e le emozioni non mancheranno anche in questo round di Jerez, che rappresenta la degna conclusione di un 2023 da incorniciare.

Jerez e’ una pista che mi piace molto, poi veniamo dalla fresca vittoria del Civ quindi siamo carichi. Non sarà facile fare meglio di Misano dove abbiamo fatto dei sesti posti, ma ci proviamo.” (Simone Corsi)

After the excitement of winning the 2023 Italian title in the Supersport 600NG class, another important appointment awaits, with the prestigious wild card in the WorldSSP at Jerez de la Frontera.

The newly-crowned Italian champion, Simone Corsi, returns to the World Championship for the third time in 2023 and does so with a strong desire to prove how well deserved the Italian title won in his very first season on a production-derived racing bike is. The Andalusian track is not unfamiliar to the Roman champion where, as in the previous cases of Assen and Misano, he has competed there throughout his career. It will be a further test to confirm his acquired prowess in this category and pick up a good result that can seal a glorious season.

For the whole AltoGo team it will be another test not to be missed in what for a couple of seasons has been the ground for the European WorldSSP Challenge title, within which Giovanni Altomonte's team has always distinguished itself well. The adrenaline is at maximum and the emotions will not be lacking also in this Jerez round, which represents the worthy conclusion of a 2023 to be framed.

Jerez is a track I like a lot, then we come from the fresh win in the Civ so we are pumped up. It won't be easy to do better than Misano where we finished sixth, but we'll try.” (Simone Corsi)
