Hoje fomos surpreendidos com uma Baleia de Bossa (Megaptera novaeangliae) avistada entre a Ponta dos Caminhos e o Barranco. E como podem ver bem perto de costa. Tinha aproximadamente 13 metros e estava bastante activa, dando diversos saltos que demonstravam o quanto esta espécie é surpreendente. Comportamento este muito habitual. Se o mês de Fevereiro já nos dá surpresas destas só podemos esperar o melhor para a época que se aproxima.
Today we saw a Humpback Whale (Megaptera novaeangliae) sighted between Ponta dos Caminhos and Barranco. And as you can see very close to the shore. It had more or less 13 meters and was very active, breaching a lot showing us how surprising this specie can be. A behaviour very common. If February gives us this surprises we can only expect the best for the season that is coming.
