🗞️ The 19th edition of Clubhouse Algarve arrives in a landmark year for golf in the region.
Six decades after the opening of Penina’s Championship Course in 1966, we revisit the pioneers and courses that helped transform the Algarve into one of the world’s leading golf destinations. But this is a story that continues to unfold.
Last summer, the inaugural Portugal Invitational brought PGA TOUR Champions to Europe for the fi rst time, placing the Algarve fi rmly in the global golf spotlight.
More recently, Monte Rei’s acclaimed North Course reopened following an extensive renovation designed to prepare it for the decades ahead.
