There are places where we go on holiday… and then there are places that, over time, become part of our story. ❤️
This is already our 4th consecutive year in El Rompido, always with the family, and the feeling becomes more special every time. It’s one of those places where, as soon as we arrive, we immediately feel at home.
A resort where you really have everything: peace and tranquillity, plenty of space, activities every day for all ages and, above all, the perfect conditions to enjoy quality time together as a family.
And then there’s the golf… 🏌️♂️
Two absolutely fantastic courses, each with very different characteristics, but both of exceptional quality. Playing here is always a pleasure. I’m always made to feel incredibly welcome, with a level of friendliness and attention that makes all the difference. Perhaps that’s why, every time I pick up my clubs at El Rompido, I immediately feel like staying for just one more round of golf.
Between the fairways, the nature, the great challenges and that feeling of freedom that only golf can provide, these courses have become an important part of my holidays — and some of my best memories here.
At the end of the day, that’s what we look for when we travel as a family: a place where everyone has their own space, where there is always something to do, and where we can simply enjoy being together.
4th year. Same family. Same place. And even more reasons to come back. ❤️

Portugal Junior Tour - Where Talent Meets A Pathway 🇵🇹⛳️
Tenho acompanhado com bastante interesse o nascimento deste projeto e acredito sinceramente que pode representar um passo muito importante para o desenvolvimento do golfe júnior, não só em Portugal.
Criar um evento desta magnitude não é apenas uma questão de organizar competições.
É preciso visão.
É preciso conhecimento.
É preciso capacidade de execução.
E, acima de tudo, é preciso reunir pessoas capazes e competentes para transformar uma ideia num verdadeiro projeto de desenvolvimento.
É isso que mais me entusiasma no Portugal Junior Tour.
Portugal tem talento. Tem cada vez mais jovens a entrar no golfe, academias e treinadores a trabalhar diariamente no desenvolvimento desses jogadores e famílias dispostas a acompanhar esse percurso.
O que precisamos é de criar mais oportunidades para que esse talento encontre um caminho.
Um verdadeiro pathway.
Competir. Ganhar experiência. Conhecer diferentes campos e jogadores. Aprender a lidar com a pressão. Evoluir. E, acima de tudo, começar a perceber que existe um percurso possível para quem sonha chegar mais longe no golfe.
Por isso, deixo aqui os meus parabéns a toda a equipa envolvida na criação deste projeto.
É preciso coragem para lançar algo novo. E é preciso competência para pensar desde o início numa visão que pode ir muito além de um simples circuito de torneios, e essas pessoas formam a equipa do Portugal Junior Tour.
Espero sinceramente que o Portugal Junior Tour consiga crescer, envolver cada vez mais academias e treinadores e tornar-se uma referência no desenvolvimento do golfe júnior em Portugal.
Vou acompanhar este projeto com enorme interesse.
Porque acredito que, quando juntamos talento, competição, formação e as pessoas certas, podemos criar muito mais do que bons jogadores.

About the …
pride was one of the professionals who welcomed us and, in just a few words, stripped golf down to its essence.

That’s it.
Golf, like so many things in life, is simple in theory. The hard part is the ex*****on, day after day, when you’re willing to step outside your comfort zone, embrace failure, stay persistent, and keep moving forward.
It’s within everyone’s reach… but only for those who are willing to go beyond their comfort zone.

About the curious details we find when we truly pay attention, with observant eyes, with critical thinking, with the willingness to understand what is really happening.
That’s me! When there’s no live broadcast, I’m the kind of person who hits “Refresh” around 180 times during a round of golf. I’m the one zooming in on the green, opening Google Maps to try and understand exactly where they are, where they’re going to play from, what they’re going to do “from there”…
And today, while following Daniel’s and Ricardo’s rounds, something caught my attention when I saw Ricardo’s first shot on the 12th hole. I had seen those distances before… or maybe I was starting to imagine things. I wasn’t. After checking again, I was sure.
Today, during the second round of the Soudal Open, on the 12th hole, separated by more than an hour, Ricardo and Daniel hit an “identical” tee shot.
Even assuming the shot-tracking location may not be perfectly precise, and after going through the entire leaderboard, there were no other matching numbers.
So we can safely say that today, our guys managed to do the impossible: the exact same shot!

Adiós Barcelona 🇪🇸
In less than 24 hours, so much happened…
A road trip, a night flight, a 36-hole walk and an incredible night!
I don’t feel tired, I feel fulfilled and grateful!
I had never watched a Tour tournament from this close before, the closest I’ve ever been.
It’s incredible, the scale, the level, the pressure and the precision. There, in loco, you can truly feel how quickly things go from “we can win this” to “this time it’s not happening.” You see glory and failure walking hand in hand. You see an extraordinarily executed driver followed by a missed 80-centimeter putt.
You see concentration, calmness, reading the game and perception walking side by side with nervousness. You see the level of management and control that is required. You see players “getting back into the game” in less than 15 seconds. There, you witness the very best of the best, elite professionals competing against one another, all performing at an extraordinary level except for one, who seems to be operating on a completely different level from the rest.
The atmosphere is beautiful!
I want to go back and feel again what I felt at the Estrella Damm Championship Catalunya!
