Purposely Feeling Connected.
Being on a healing journey, I learned life is lovely; you will still have days when you feel overwhelmed and disconnected from yourself. The difference is just that, as you start to heal and become connected to your inner self, you become aware of your emotions, and you learn you can control them as you continue to grow and get wiser, day by day.
This made me think; If I sat down with my younger self today, what advice would I give her….
Dear Me…..
Focus on things nobody can take away from you!
True happiness does not come from money or a career. Although this is good, your worth should not depend on it.
Focus on cultivating a healthy mind, soul and body because these components create the inner connections that significantly contribute to your happiness.
Expand your mind; read books, listen to podcasts, and attend seminars and workshops.
Nurture your soul; surround yourself with like-minded people. Be clear on the morals and principles you choose to live by. Start working out, drink your water and get enough sleep.
Stay positive.
