What an incredible moment to meet the inspirational today ahead of her attempt to beat the MENS (yes, you read correctly) world record for cycling around the world! She starts Sunday at 4am local time from Chicago, aiming to finish back in Chicago by the 23rd August.
Lael has been a shining light in the world of endurance racing online for years now but meeting her in real life showed me why she’s connected with so many people and has such a following. She’s got a beautiful heart and soul, cares deeply about others and just loves riding her bike. Which she happens to be really good at (although she’d say she’s just really good at eating) 😂
