The EQUAL Curriculum has been developed to provide practical knowledge, activities and tools that support gender equality and help reduce the dropout of girls from basketball.

As part of its development, athletes, coaches, sports professionals, and other relevant stakeholders are invited to review the Curriculum and share their feedback.

Their perspectives will help ensure that the final material is clear, relevant and applicable in real basketball and sports settings.

Together, we are turning research and experience into practical action for a more equal and inclusive future in basketball.

🏀🇵🇹 As part of the Erasmus+ project “EqualHoops 3x3”, ADCS Carvalhais is organising the “EqualHoops 3x3” tournament during European Sports Week 2026.

This local and regional initiative aims to select two teams for the international phase (one team in each age group), which will take place in Barcelona on 13, 14 and 15 November 2026. In this international phase, the teams selected in Portugal will face the selected teams from Spain, North Macedonia and Serbia.

The “EqualHoops 3x3” project will run from November 2025 to April 2027 in Spain, Serbia, North Macedonia and Portugal, and aims to promote gender equality through mixed 3x3 basketball.
