OFFICIALLY 50 KILOS DOWN! 🥹🙏🏽
I’m not sure what came first: the gym or finally deciding to prioritise myself. But somewhere along the way, those two things became synonymous.
I spent half my life dieting on and off, trying to make myself smaller. Trying to fit in. Trying to look the way I thought I was supposed to look.
But everything changed when I stopped seeing the gym as punishment and started seeing it as a place where I could become stronger. When nutrition became a tool for getting healthier, not just skinnier.
50 kilos.
This journey has been and is about so much more than the weight I’ve lost. I’ve outgrown habits, expectations and even people along the way. Because changing your priorities and the way you live requires a version of you who takes herself seriously. A version who keeps showing up. Who puts herself first.
I started by working out at the gym.
Then I started working at the gym.
And in two months, I’ll be a certified personal trainer, ready to help others become the strongest versions of themselves, both physically and mentally.
My journey isn’t over. I’m still out here getting fitter, healthier and stronger. Day by day, week by week.
But today, I’m allowing myself to stop and take this in: I 👏🏼 DID 👏🏼 THAT!
