s initiated to promote and facilitate interdisciplinary knowledge and consensus on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic lumbopelvic pain. MISSION AND INVITATION
Held every three years it is the only truly multidisciplinary conference on lumbopelvic pain. This global congress invites practitioners, academics, researchers and policy makers from all continents and from clinical areas as wide ranging as medicine, orthopedics, neuro-surgery, physiotherapy, chiropractic, biomechanics, osteopathy, manual therapy, exercise therapy, myotherapy, and sports medicine. The content of this educational program is determined by rigorous assessment, medical practice, literature and chart review. All programs so far presented have been accredited internationally and by all professional organizations endorsing the programs. This 4-day congress will be held between November 1-4 2023 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

In case you missed it.....PHYSIOMED ELEKTROMEDIZIN AG hosted a webinar on Monday the 4th of December.
The topic: the value and place of strength training within back muscle rehabilitation.
Lieven Danneels is full professor at the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy. He is head of the research unit Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, section Spine and authored more than 80 publications in international peer reviewed journals, many national publications and book chapters.

Well Deserved Award!!
LKB vant anerkjennende pris
I dag vant vi den prestisjetunge prisen for beste posterpresentasjon på forskningskongressen 11th Interdisciplinary World Congress on Low Back and Pelvic Girdle pain.
Det var en av to priser som ble delt ut på kongressen.
LKB deltatt som interesseorganisasjon og brukermedvirker, i blant forskningseliten på blant annet bekkenleddsmerter. ��Vi får ros for brukermedvirkning, LKBs innsats for deling av kunnskapsbasert informasjon, bygging av broer med fagmiljøene, og vårt filmprosjekt som viser gode teknikker for hensiktsmessig bruk av kroppen når du opplever svangerskapsbaserte bekkenleddsmerter.
Vi har presentert vårt filmprosjekt som vi har utviklet sammen med fysioterapeut og forsker Britt Stuge og Faggruppen for kvinnehelse NFF .
Skulle du være nyskjerrig på filmene finner du de både på engelsk og norsk på bekkenleddhelse.no
Det føles utrolig stort, og vi deler gleden med mange. Alle tillitsvalgte som står på, lokallagene som bidrar til at representanter Astrid Torgersen Lunestad og Vibeke Helander Bolstad kunne reise til kongressen, all jobben som legges ned over hele Norge, og samarbeid med fagmiljøene vi bare heier på enda mer av. Sammen❤️
