One for the history books in Game #6 with the Lankans notching up another comprehensive victory over Tuskers CC!

Choosing to field first, we got off to the best possible start with the magic of Naveen picking up a highly rated opposition batsman in the 1st ball of the innings! We bowled pretty decently with most of the bowlers picking up wickets but Tuskers managed to put up a pretty good total at the end.

The chase was a fairytale of one man, Rajeewa Nirmal! Bagging the 1st ton of the tournament for Lankans CC and proving his class with a wide array of shots and power hits. We cannot forget the contribution of Dinouk, despite his torn hammie, held the innings together with Rajeewa, scored some important runs, showing tremendous grit and commitment!

With a semi slot in reaching distance, we hope to continue the good form against our next opponents on Friday for our last group game. Until then, stay tuned!

A brilliant day out for the lads with a comprehensive win over Royal Stars CC in game #5.

Put into field first, our bowlers created havoc backed by some brilliant display of fielding! Nayeem, Shaheen and Sandun leading the way picking up regular wickets, we managed to bundle the opposition out for 76 by the 24th over.

During the chase, we probably lost a couple of wickets more than what we would have liked, but nevertheless, managed to chase down the total in the 14th over.

A big win to keep us in the Semi final fight and looking forward to the next game to seal the spot! Stay tuned!

A disappointing loss in our 4th Game! Starting off pretty positively ended up being a forgettable day on the field. Multiple missed catches enabled Asian CC to pile up a massive total of 307 runs in their allotted 50 overs with Shaheen finishing up on respectable stats picking up 2 wickets, supported by captain Sandun with an economical spell.

The chase was always going to be an uphill climb from the start. There were decent contributions from most of the batters but none were able to put up a big enough score to chase the total down. Naveen and Nayeem tried their best to get things moving but we managed to reach only 257.

The loss meant that the race to the semis was going to be tight. The next 3 games are crucial for us to qualify, so stay tuned!

A good win under the belt against Fireox CC. Losing the toss and asked to field first, our bowlers put up a great effort to restrict the opponents to 223. Rajeewa, Dinouk and Sajith picking up a couple of wickets each on a hot day to bundle them out in the 47th over.

The chase was a stark contrast from the last game with much more composure shown by our batters. A few tweaks in the batting lineup helped us to chase the target comprehensively with 7 overs to spare. Shaheen promoted to the top of the batting compiled 45 patient runs while VC Andy scored an impressive half century to guide the chase. Dinouk put on another 33 runs to seal the game for us giving him a well deserved MOM award for his all-round performance!

A big game coming up this Friday! So stay tuned!
