Being a great teacher doesn't automatically prepare you to lead other teachers
Across education, talented educators are regularly promoted into leadership roles because they are experienced, capable and respected, often without being given the skills to make the transition from teaching students to leading adults.
Suddenly, you're expected to motivate colleagues, navigate challenging conversations, give feedback, build trust, manage different perspectives and support others to find their own solutions.
And the leadership skills that enable you to do this aren't necessarily the same skills that made you an excellent teacher.
If you're an educator who has stepped into leadership - or you're preparing to - and want to lead people as effectively as you've learned to teach them, this workshop is for you.
Join us for Coaching & Leadership Skills for K-12 Educators, an engaging online workshop designed to introduce practical coaching and leadership skills that can support you to become a more confident and empowering leader.
You'll explore how to:
• Ask powerful questions that encourage others to think for themselves rather than relying on you for the answers.
• Listen more deeply to build trust, connection and understanding.
• Lead more effective conversations with colleagues, students and parents.
• Support other educators to develop their own ideas, confidence and resourcefulness.
• Shift from feeling you need to have all the answers to creating the conditions for others to step up.
And these skills don't stop at leadership.
The same coaching approach can transform conversations with students - supporting them to think more deeply, take greater ownership of their learning and develop confidence in their own capabilities.

You know you need your MENTOR COACHING hours!
You know coach recordings are required.
You know the credentialing exam is waiting.
But the process feels complicated. The requirements feel unclear. And without someone alongside you who truly knows the pathway - it is easy to keep postponing what matters.
This is the gap nobody talks about when you sign up for coach training.
You can complete 60, 125 or more hours of excellent training - and still feel completely unprepared for what the credential journey actually demands. Because training teaches you to coach. Mentoring teaches you to coach at the level the ICF is assessing you for.
These are not the same thing.
The ICF's ACC and PCC assessments are specific, rigorous and nuanced. Assessors listen for particular behaviours, particular qualities of presence and particular markers of competency - at a level that most coaches only begin to understand when they receive expert feedback for the first time.
Our ICF Mentor Coaching Programme is designed for coaches at exactly this stage. You will receive:
● Expert guidance on your ACC or PCC credential pathway - step by step
● Feedback on your coaching recordings aligned to the specific ICF BARS and Core Competencies
● Support from MCC mentors who have guided hundreds of coaches to their credentials
● Group and one-to-one mentoring across a structured programme
● Clarity - finally - on exactly where you are and what you need to do next
You do not have to figure this out alone. And you should not have to.
September and December intakes are now open. https://www.empower-world.com/icf-mentoring-programme
Where are you in your credential journey right now - and what is the one thing holding you back?

Burnout is not a badge of honour. It's a business cost.
Too often, being "busy" is worn as a symbol of success. But behind the long hours and constant pressure are exhausted people, declining performance and significant costs for organisations.
Research shows that poor mental health costs UK employers an estimated £51 billion each year, while billions of working days are lost globally due to anxiety, depression and burnout.
The solution isn't another wellbeing initiative that sits on the sidelines.
It's leadership.
Leaders who listen.
Leaders who role model healthy boundaries.
Leaders who create psychological safety.
Leaders who understand that people perform at their best when they are well.
As Nicola Spencer-Perera shared on Empower World's Coaching and Leadership Podcast, the same high-profile global event was delivered successfully - but with a very different human experience when wellbeing became part of the strategy, not an afterthought.
Because when people thrive, organisations thrive.
What's one thing leaders can do today to create a healthier workplace?

When someone brings you a challenge, how quickly do you begin searching for an answer?
We advise. We reassure. We share what worked for us.
All with the best intentions.
But sometimes, the most supportive thing we can offer is not an answer. It is the space for another person to think, reflect and discover their own way forward.
In just a few days, Jeanine Bailey, ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC), will guide a complimentary live experience exploring one of the foundational skills of professional coaching:
Listening Beyond the Words
The conversation skill rarely taught, but everyone needs.
Come and experience the difference between listening to respond and listening in a way that supports genuine insight.
