Dear riders,
We are all going through strange and uncertain times. As governments try to contain the spread of Covid-19, severe restrictions are being put into place to suppress the rise of infections and to avoid any unnecessary loss of life. We are coming to terms with the challenge that lies ahead.
The 2020 edition of Carpathian MTB Epic was all about new tracks, new locations, a whole new festival experience and more race options suited for amateur riders. In the current context, we cannot guarantee that we can deliver a seamless experience that lives up to your expectations. We also cannot, in good faith, present an event that is uncertain whether it can take place and also cannot protect the safety of all those involved - riders, volunteers, supporters and our own team.
We have never abandoned a quest. It is not in our nature. Nevertheless, making a stand will protect our organizing team NOW and might mean saving lives later. The Carpathians will be there, unmoved by this crisis, waiting to be discovered once again. Stay safe everybody and see you in 2021!
