Rwanda Dodgeball Association is proud to announce the official launch of Dodgeball Academy activities in Musanze City this past weekend.

Led by Gilbert and Ferdinand, our team took a decisive step forward in expanding the reach of the sport using the home made dodgeballs. This is not just a local event—it is the beginning of a deliberate, nationwide effort to grow, structure, and elevate dodgeball across Rwanda.

Musanze is now part of a larger vision: building a strong, competitive, and inclusive dodgeball culture from the ground up. The objective is clear—introduce the game, develop players, engage communities, and create pathways for talent.

This launch is a starting point, not a finish line. The real work begins now: consistency, quality training, and disciplined growth will determine whether this initiative becomes impactful or just another short-lived activity.

Rwanda Dodgeball Association remains committed to making the sport accessible, visible, and competitive across the country.

Rwanda Dodgeball Association proudly congratulates its President, Mr. Anaclet Bagirishya, on his appointment to the African Dodgeball Confederation Board as the Regional Representative for East Africa, responsible for the Development and Training Commission.

This well-deserved recognition reflects his dedication, visionary leadership, and continuous commitment to the growth and development of dodgeball in Rwanda and across the region.

We wish him great success in this new continental responsibility as he continues to elevate the sport to greater heights.

This last weekend our coaches Nando Berney Ferdinand and Gilbert visited the Oasis Sports Community Center in Kigali City, Nduba Sector, Gasanze Cell, Nyarubande Village.

They enjoyed the training session together with enthusiast youngsters from the Center who are eager to learn more about Dogldgebal game. We thank Coach Xavier who welcomed them at the Center and hope to see them back to support the work our Rwanda Dodgeball Association has started across the country.

Thurday training session was so amazing.

The coaches introduced some basic tactics of the game like:

- Throwing the ball
- Dodging
- Catching
- Opening rush
- Coordinated attack

Our Coaches Gilbert and Ferdinand are doing the great job with youth at Kimisagara Youth Center.

We call upon all youth around the center to not miss the today's training session at 10:00AM.

On August 21st, 2024, Rwanda Dodgeball Association received the two Rwandan Dodgeball players based in Uganda at SportAIDNetwork.

By the support of these two future dodgeball coaches, a training session was organized and conducted by Ferdinand and Gilbert. They were able to share their skills to our members in Kigali at Kimiaagara Youth Center.
