Cycling fans will spend 26 days immersed in their biggest event of the year, the 2026 Tour du Rwanda.

From Sunday, February 22 to Sunday, March 1, this cycling race will take place across different regions of the Land of a Thousand Hills, showcasing Rwanda’s unique and challenging terrain.

In a thrilling display of stamina and strategy, Muhoza Eric triumphed in the 2026 Heroes Cycling Cup, securing his first victory in the prestigious event after a strong second-place finish in 2024.

For the third consecutive year, Team Rwanda is headed to the UAE 🇦🇪! Our national cycling team will compete in the Tour of Sharjah (2.2) starting this Friday.

Benediction Banafrica Team Celebrates a Special Milestone

Before becoming the Continental Team now known as Benediction Banafrica Team, the organization competed under the name Benediction Club, built on strong values of unity, growth, and family.

During this important phase of its development, the team was proud to celebrate a memorable and joyful occasion: the wedding of one of its women riders, Mukashema Josiane.

The entire Benediction Banafrica Team extends its warmest congratulations to Mukashema Josiane and wishes her a life filled with love, happiness, and continued success as she begins this new chapter.

This morning, Rwanda’s U17 riders — Shema Emmanuel, Gisubizo Issa, Iransetsa Amina, and Akimana Donatha — departed for Angola to compete in the Africa Youth Games, scheduled for 10–20 December 2025.

These young talents will represent our nation with pride, carrying the hopes of the future generation of Rwandan cycling. Their participation is made possible through the support of the Rwanda Olympic Committee.

We wish them a successful competition and a memorable international experience.
