Al Turki Champions League 40-40 tournament match vs Tamil Nadu cc.

In overcast conditions lead to inserting the opposition to bat first. The decision paid rich rewards as the first wicket fell in the opening over with ample assistance for the fadt bowlers. The opposition never recovered from the early loss of wickets with the new ball but Atiif Fareed Khan stole the show with an outstanding display of spin bowling knocking out the middle order. He was well supported by Arsalan Shakeel and Sfyanali Sfyanali.

Set a small target of 78 to win. The chase got off to a solid start from Tausif Ali and Wase Khan. There were some minors jitters in the form of a mini collapse but the chase was completed comfortably in 10 overs.

Man of the match : Atif khan for his outstanding display of spin bowling.

Al Turki Champions League 40/40 Tournament match VS Zalmi Guns.

After Electing to bat first Zalmi guns set up a target of 224 runs in their allocated 40 over. The innings was marred with wickets falling at regular intervals as our bowlers kept the scoring, in check. Wase Khan, Muhammad Ali Faridi and Atiif Fareed Khan shared the wickets.

In reply after the openers got us off to a solid start batting lynchpin Bilal Ahmed took over the game with a commanding century and put the game out of reach for the opposition.

🏏 Match Update –Quarter Finals SKF Memorial Champions Trophy 2025 (Super Division)

The tournament has now entered the knock out stages and a finish on top of the group gave us a clash with Kashmir Zalmi cc.

⭐ Performance of the Match: Bilal Ahmed For his excellent batting performance under pressure scoring 56 runs of 55 balls which included 4 fours and 1 six.

🔥 – We decided to put the opposition a decision which looked to have backfired as the openers got of to a brisk start with some nice shots and some streaky runs as well. However Atiif Fareed Khan continued his excellent vein of form and took 3 wickets in the power play to reduce the batting side to 53/3 inside the powerplay. Waqar Parkar, Muhammad Moeed and Wase Khan provided excellent support as they controlled the flow of runs and kept the scoring in check giving us a manageable target of 141.

💥 A straight forward chase got of to a bad start as we lost waseem to the first ball of the innings. Adnan followed suit in the next over putting us in a spot of bother. However the returning Tausif Ali and Bilal set about in rebuilding the innings putting up a solid stand of 68 to put the game beyond the reach of the opposition giving us a comfortable win with 1 over to spare.

👏 An excellent game with great team effort from the bowling unit who kept the opposition in check to set up a comfortable chase and helped us book a spot in the semi finals.

🏏 Match Update –SKF Memorial Champions Trophy 2025 (Super Division)

Last Friday saw in a must win game vs Evergreen CC to secure top spot in theSKF Memorial Champions Trophy. At steak was top spot and bragging rights.

🔹 Young Guns CC: 162/ 10 (20 overs)
🔹 Evergreen CC: 156/7 (20 overs)
✅ Young Guns cc won by 6 runs 🎉🎉

⭐ Performance of the Match: Muhammad Ali Faridi For his excellent all round performance scoring 34 runs of 23 balls which included 5 fours and excellent bowling figures of 2/24 in 4 overs.

🔥 – After winning the toss and deciding to bat we got off to mix start with a healthy run rate but regular loss of wickets which had us in spot of bother at 77/5 in 10 overs. Vice Captain Ali along with the ever reliable Shaikh Arif rebuilt the innings with a solid partnership of 55 to get us into a decent position and eventually end up with a fighting total of 162.

💥 In order to defend the par score of 162 a good start in power play would be needed and it was provided by the opening pair of Ali and Atiif Fareed Khan as they reduced Evergreen to 41/5 in the first 8 overs almost completely ending their chances of chasing the target down. A late fight back was mounted but in the end proved to be futile as we ended up winning by 6 runs.

👏 An excellent game with great team effort with contributions from all team members. With other results going in our favour we ended up topping the group and qualifying as group winners for the Quater finals. Allhumdullillah.

Last Friday saw a top of the table clash vs Delloitte CC in theSKF Memorial Champions Trophy. At steak was top spot and bragging rights.

✅ Delloite CC won by 1 wicket 🎉🎉

⭐ Performance of the Match:Waseem Wase Khan For his excellent all round performance scoring 51 runs of 38 balls which included 5 fours and 1 towering six.

🔥 – After winning the toss and deciding to bat we got off to an excellent start with an opening partnership of 88 in 9 overs. Delloitte struck back with 3 quick wickets which brought Bilal Ahmed to the crease who steadied the ship with a solid counter attack. Giving us a very defensible total of 190 in 20 overs.

💥 Delloite CC came out all guns blazing as they knew a quick start was needed to chase down a big total of 190. Despite their good start they lost 2 wickets in the powerplay. However we couldn't control the flow of the runs Delloitte kept loosing wickets at regular intervals but kept with the run rate and eventually chased down the target on penultimate ball of the innings.

👏 A highly entertaining and close game deserving of the title of top of the table clash. The team tried their best but ended up short by a vefy fine margin. Special mention for Akmal Javed who played with a back injury and almost won us the game.

⭐ Man of the Match: Saad Ahmed Khan For his brilliant Captain's knock under pressure scoring 54 runs of 25 balls which included 7 fours and 2 towering sixes.

🔥 – Excellent line and length bowling in the power play by Atif khan brought 2 wickets and kept the scoring in check. He ended the match with excellent figures of 3 wickets for 20 runs. And was well supported by the other bowlers.

💥 The run chase got of to a rocky start as we lost both openers in the first 4 overs, man in form waseem falling in the first over. Excellent contributions by Bilal Ahmed, Arsalan Shakeel and Shaikh Arif kept the required rate in check. But it was the blistering batting display by Captain Saad that made the chase look much easier than it was. He aggressive counter attack took the game away from the opposition.

👏 Another team effort gives us 4 wins on the trott Allhumdullillah and sets up a mouth watering top of the table clash for next week.

⭐ Man of the Match: Waseem Khan ( Wase Khan ) For his dominating batting display of 62 runs of 36 balls and bowling figures of 4/25.

🔥 – Excellent line and length bowling in the power play yielded 2 wickets and the pressure was maintained by the spinners. Debutant Mohiz looked threatening with his pace and was rewarded with 2 wickets. Wase Khan was back to bowling best picking up 4 wickets to restrict teh total to 133.

💥 Another Friday and another batting masterclass by Waseem and Bilal Ahmed made the chase a very comfortable affair as both dominated the bowling with shots on both sides of the wicket.

🔥 Fireworks by Captain Saad Ahmed Khan once again to finish the chase of by making quickfire 19 which included 3 sixes.

👏 Another Excellent team effort by the team gives us 3 wins at the start of the tournament and top of the table position. Allhumdullillah

⭐ Man of the Match: Waseem Khan ( Wase Khan) For his dominating batting display of 66 runs of 41 balls which included 10 4s and 2 6s

🔥 – Great start in the power play by Atif Khan and Muhammad Ali by getting 3 wickets in the power play. This was consolidated further by solid bowling performance by Adeel on debut and waseem khan.

💥 Batting masterclass by Waseem and Bilal made the chase a very comfortable affair as both dominated the bowling with shots on both sides of the wicket.

🔥 Fireworks by Captain Saad Ahmed Khan to finish the chase of by taking 20 runs of the 16th over.

👏 Another Excellent team effort by the team gives us back to back and top of the table position.

🏏 Match Update – NAC T20 Challenge 2025 (Super Division)

Last Friday saw the start of the 2025-2026 EPCA Cricket season with the traditional T20 tournament.

✅ Young guns won by 38 runs 🎉🎉

⭐ Man of the Match: Muhammad Moeed with his outstanding spell of 3 wickets for 14 runs

🔥 – Excellent start by the batting unit. Everyone getting starts and helping the team set a winning total.

💥 Great debut bowling performance by Atif khan with the new ball. Economical during the power play and provided an all important breakthrough.

🔥 Brilliant display of keeping by Mubashir khan taking 3 outstanding catches.

👏 Excellent team effort by the entire team specially in the hot weather to setup an excellent start to the season.

Allhumdullillah.. All the hard work and efforts by the team paid off as we won the final of EPCA AL TURKI CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2024-25 by beating KFMCC by 7 wickets.

KFMCC won the toss and elected to bat and got off to a flying start racing to 100/2 in 11 overs. But excellent fightback from our spinners lead by Waseem and backed up by Suhaib and Sufyan restricted the scoring and slowed down the opposition considerably. What looked like a 300 plus chase was turned into a target of 253 due to their consistent line and lengths.

Any chase can be tricky if the team doesn't get of to a fast start. Waseem and Tauseef made sure of this by scoring at almost 9 an over during the power play seemingly taking the game away from our opponents. Some mid innings jitters were handled superbly by Tauseef and Aitzaz as they put on a 102 run stand to effectively kill any hopes of a comeback. In the end Rafi hitting the winning runs as the fianl turned out to be a one sided affair .

There were multiple candidates for man of the match but Tauseef's with his outstanding 89 runs in a tough chase was the clear choice.
