What do they all have in common?
This is some feedback from my clients this past week…
Apart from all working consistently hard, they all have one thing in common.
They have committed to following a structured training programme with the foundation being STRENGTH.
Each of them have different goals
Each of them have different abilities
Each of them have different programmes
They all now prioritise getting stronger as a base.
Regardless of whether you’re focused on Fat Loss, Muscle Gain, Running, Sports specific or even maintenance…
Some form of STRENGTH training is essential in my eyes.
1️⃣ Pick out 3-4 main exercises
2️⃣ Repeat them weekly
3️⃣ Keep the reps between 1-5 (3-5 working sets)
4️⃣ Aim for an effort between RPE 7-9
5️⃣ Track your progress week to week
This is a very basic format that WILL start giving you a solid return on your strength gains.
