Update:

We’re all sleeping happy tonight because Rudzma Abubakar advanced to the finals! 👏🏻

She fought twice today. First was vs Thailand where she lost on points; then she bounced back by defeating Ukraine on her second bout.

Tommorow, she will be having a rematch with Thailand to decide who gets the Gold 🥇. FYI, the game is double elimination.

We would also like to thank our dear kababayans here who have been cheering for us since day one.

Update :

Unfortunately, I failed to get to get the Gold medal this time in the individual waikru event and settled for Silver. I poured my everything in my performances and so I’m proud nonetheless ☺️.

Our female duo, Rhichein Yosorez and Kylie Mallari got the Gold once again in the Mai Muay while Team Captain, Phillip Delarmino together with Ariel Lee Lampacan captured Silver in the same event.

Meanwhile, Rudzma Abubakar won her bout against KSA yesterday and is still in the running for Gold in the 48kg Combat event. Let’s continue to support her as she goes up against Thailand later.

We have Lawyers, Soldiers, Muay Thai World Champion, Dentist and MMA Star! Again, this is not your ordinary group of friends!

For those who are asking and for our kababayans here in Riyadh who would like to watch us live, our games start tommorow, October 28, 1pm Riyadh time at the King Saud University. ☺️
