What a way to begin! Fortis Shipping Cricket Club made a dream start to their RCA journey with a commanding 81-run victory over Nagara CC in their opening match of the 2026–27 season.

Winning the toss, Captain Waqar Ahmed elected to bat first, and the Fortis Shipping openers delivered a spectacular performance.

🏏 RIYAS & IHSAAN DOMINATE

Debutant Ihsaan joined veteran Riyas Chukkan at the top of the order, and the pair provided Fortis Shipping with a steady start during the powerplay.

Their partnership grew stronger with every over as they displayed superb shot-making, excellent running between the wickets and outstanding strike rotation.

The opening pair went on to produce a massive 153-run partnership in just 13 overs, putting Fortis Shipping firmly in control.

After struggling with a knee injury for the last two seasons, Riyas Chukkan made a remarkable comeback with a trademark classical innings of:

The Fortis Shipping bowling attack kept picking up wickets at regular intervals and never allowed Nagara to build momentum.
