Aldabra, situated in the Aldabra Group of islands, is the world's second-largest coral atoll. The atoll is comprised of four large coral islands which enclose a shallow lagoon; the group of islands is itself surrounded by a coral reef. Due to difficulties of access and the atoll's isolation, Aldabra has been protected from human influence and thus retains some 152,000 giant tortoises, the world's largest population of this reptile. For that reason, it was included in the World Heritage list in 1982.
Here you can take advantage and practice some activities: swimming, scuba diving, snorkelling, etc.
Do not think twice and visit this hidden paradise! 🐢😍⚓

It is one of only two places in the world where the rare coco de mer palm grows in its natural state, and it's also a birding spot: watch for the endemic Seychelles bulbul, the lovely blue pigeon, the Seychelles warbler and the endangered black parrot, of which there are between 500 and 900 left in the wild.
