In the world of chess, titles are not just words placed before a player’s name — they are symbols of achievement, excellence, and dedication on the path to intellectual and artistic mastery.
Chess titles reflect the difference in skill and strength between players and are awarded only to those who have proven themselves in international competition.
So, when you watch a match between a Grandmaster (GM) and a National Master (NM), you can usually expect the Grandmaster’s experience to make the difference.

🏅 One of the great privileges of titled players is that they receive a free lifetime Diamond Membership on Chess.com as recognition of their accomplishment.

🎯 What Are the Official Chess Titles?
The International Chess Federation (FIDE) awards eight official titles, each considered a lifelong badge of honor:

🥇 Grandmaster (GM) – The highest title in chess, awarded to players who reach a 2500 FIDE rating and earn three international norms.
🥈 International Master (IM) – The second-highest title, requiring a 2400 rating and three norms.
🥉 FIDE Master (FM) – Granted to players who achieve a 2300 rating.
🏵️ Candidate Master (CM) – Given to players who reach a 2200 rating.

👩‍🎓 For women, FIDE also awards special titles:
🏆 Woman Grandmaster (WGM) – Rating 2300 + 3 norms.

كثير من المبتدئين يشعرون بذلك:
يحركون ♙، يردّون ♞، ينتظرون... ثم يخسرون ♚.
يعرفون الافتتاحيات، ويحفظون النقلات "الصحيحة"،
لكن حين يحين وقت الهجوم ♜🔥... تتجمد أفكارهم.

وليس السبب ضعف الموهبة،
بل غياب ♕ الرؤية، و♖ الشجاعة، و♗ فهم الهدف من كل نقلة.

فالشطرنج لا يكافئ من يختبئ وراء الدفاع ♜♜♜،
بل من يفكّر أولًا ♛، ويضغط أولًا ♝، ويحلم أولًا ♞.

إذا أردت أن تتوقف عن الإحساس بأن الرقعة تتحكم بك ♟️،
ابدأ بتغيير طريقتك في التفكير:

1️⃣ توقّف عن التحريك... وابدأ بالتخطيط ♕.
لكل نقلة سبب:
ما القطعة التي أهاجمها ♜؟ أيّ خانة أريد السيطرة عليها ♟؟ ما التهديد الذي أخلق ♝؟

2️⃣ قاتل من أجل المركز ♙♙، لا من أجل البقاء.
المركز هو القوة ⚔️.
من يسيطر عليه يتنفس بحرية ♔، ومن يهمله يخنق أفكاره بنفسه.

3️⃣ أيِقِظ قطعك النائمة ♗♘♖.
لا هجوم بلا تنسيق.
قطعك يجب أن تتحدث معًا، لا أن تتحرك كغرباء في ساحة المعركة ♜♞♝.

4️⃣ لا تخشَ التضحية ♞➡️♛.
أحيانًا تخسر قطعة لتكسب الحرب ♔.
الشطرنج لا يُربح بالخوف، بل بالحساب ♕ والشجاعة ♖.

5️⃣ تعلّم من الهجمات الكلاسيكية ♛🔥.
ادرس مورفي، وتال، وأليخين — لا لتقلّدهم، بل لتفهم كيف كانوا يفكرون عندما اشتعلت الرقعة ♟🔥.

في اليوم الذي تتوقف فيه عن اللعب لتفادي الخسارة ♚،
ستبدأ اللعب لتصنع الجمال الهادف ♕✨.

لأن الشطرنج الحقيقي ليس منطقًا فقط،
بل فنّ ♛، وإيقاع ♝، وشجاعة ♖ متخفية في ثوب الحساب ♞.
