🥈 på GKSS MatchCup Sweden 2026!

Vilken vecka vi fick. Marstrand bjöd på förhållanden i världsklass och klipporna fylldes med mer folk för varje dag som gick.
Även om guldet var inom räckhåll och vi såklart ville mer, är vi otroligt tacksamma för veckan och allt stöd vi fick längs vägen. Tyvärr saknades det där lilla extra i år och det blev några misstag för mycket i finalen när det väl skulle avgöras. Så den här gången är det bara att gratulera Chris Poole med team som var det bättre laget i finalen.

Drömmen om att vinna lever dock vidare, så vi kommer tillbaka nästa år igen och hoppas på ännu mer publik på klipporna!

Stort tack till alla som stöttat oss under veckan, både på plats och på distans.
Tack också till organisationen och alla volontärer för ännu ett fantastiskt arrangemang.

SATURDAY CHAMPIONSHIP BECKONS

MARSTRAND, Sweden (3 July 2026) – The island of Marstrand is set for a thrilling Championship Saturday at the 2026 GKSS Match Cup Sweden and Nordea Women’s Trophy final, with hometown star Oscar Engström/ Team Liros and American match racing ace Chris Poole/ Riptide Racing advancing to the Open Match Cup final. Sweden’s Martina Carlsson/ Beyond Racing is also chasing her first women’s world tour title in the Nordea Women’s Trophy against defending champion Pauline Courtois and the Match in Pink from Normandy, France.

What an experience! 🇺🇸⛵️ We just finished our first-ever Congressional Cup (and Ficker Cup)!

While we didn’t quite get the results we were hoping for on the scoreboard, these past two weeks have been packed with fun, incredibly tight racing, and massive learnings for the team.

A huge thank you to everyone at Long Beach Yacht Club for putting on such a fantastic event. A very special shoutout to our incredible hosts, the Snow family – the way you open your home and welcomed us is truly unique. You made us feel right at home!

Also, a big thanks to Zak Merton and Severin Gramm for stepping in and putting up with us for a week! Looking forward to getting you back onboard soon.
