What an experience! 🇺🇸⛵️ We just finished our first-ever Congressional Cup (and Ficker Cup)!

While we didn’t quite get the results we were hoping for on the scoreboard, these past two weeks have been packed with fun, incredibly tight racing, and massive learnings for the team.

A huge thank you to everyone at Long Beach Yacht Club for putting on such a fantastic event. A very special shoutout to our incredible hosts, the Snow family – the way you open your home and welcomed us is truly unique. You made us feel right at home!

Also, a big thanks to Zak Merton and Severin Gramm for stepping in and putting up with us for a week! Looking forward to getting you back onboard soon.

Great and fun week for the team in Macao during the season opener of the World Match Racing Tour 🟥🪁

Unfortunately, we didn’t make it all the way to a win but came away with the silver! It feels a bit tough right now since we were really close, but overall we are taking a lot of positives away from the week. We definitely had one of our best sailing performances, and with a little distance we will be proud of our effort.

At the same time, there are certainly areas we need to develop and learn from. We will make sure to do just that to be able to come back even stronger for the upcoming events. And definitely try to peak for the Match Cup in Marstrand this summer.

Svenskt VM-silver i matchracing Britterna med Ian Williams som skeppare var för starka. Men Oscar Engström och hans besättning lämnar ändå Kina med VM-medaljer. De svenska seglarna tog silver.

What an incredible week for the team at the World Championship in Shenzhen, China. 🥈🏆

Finishing second was beyond our expectations heading into our very first Worlds as a team. Huge congratulations to Ian and his team on the win- well deserved.

Third at GKSS Match Cup Sweden🥉💪🏼🇸🇪

What a week, what a battle and what a way to finish it!

Marstrand has been our main goal this season, with one clear objective: to win a medal. A tough and ambitious target, but that’s what we wanted to achieve.

The week started rough. We struggled, gave away matches on mistakes, and just couldn’t get the wins. But we stuck to our routines, trusted the process, and focused on improving one race at a time.

And then the turnaround came. We pulled through when it counted the most and managed to grab third place after a wild match against Johnie Berntsson and his team, which felt unreal.

There is still lots to work on and mistakes we need to clean up, but this gives us even more energy and motivation to keep putting in the hours.

We also want to send a huge thanks to everyone who took the time to come out and support us from shore. We hope you are already saving the date for next year, because we will be aiming even higher and we will need you even more.

And of course, a massive thank you to our partners. Your support is what makes this possible and we are truly thankful for that!
