Not very long ago, "we have a proof of concept running with ExxonMobil" would have been a dream scenario somebody floated at lunch. Last month we spent a day at their headquarters outside Houston, and it is real.

Few organisations on earth buy scaffolding at that scale. Every project we ever called big quietly reclassified itself on the drive over. Thank you Greg Nordin for the day, and for telling us what does not work before we asked.

Hand Oskar a drawing at ScaffEx and it stands up as a finished 3D scaffold, material list and engineering included, in about six minutes.

Then he starts asking questions. How material actually leaves your yard? How you know what is actually standing out there versus what is on the list? A good part of Scaffcalc started as something a scaffolder mentioned in passing at a stand. He is in Manchester to collect more of those.

Jan's advice to any scaffolding company still on paper and Excel: add up the hours you spend on calculations and drawings. Then picture getting most of them back, using a tool that works for you and not against you. For him, that is the whole case.
