SportAdmin på World Aquatic Development Conference! 🌊
I helgen deltog vi som utställare på World Aquatic Development Conference, en konferens fylld av spännande samtal och kunskapsutbyte kring utvecklingen inom vattenidrott. Vi är glada över möjligheten att ha fått träffa så många engagerade föreningsutvecklare, ledare och tränare, samt dela våra insikter om hur vi kan göra föreningslivet enklare och mer effektivt!
Ett stort tack till SK Poseidon och alla som tog sig tid att prata med oss – vi ser fram emot nästa gång!

New this year at WADC 2025 was the Diving track. Diving had some fantastic days with speakers like Greg Louganis, Gareth Ziyambi, Sahana Gopal, Kim White, Paul Joachim Bloch Thorsen, Tanya Kumar, Dean Barker and Mads Claussen. Thank you to all of you who participate and made the good athmosphere! Here are some photos from the diving track.

Thank you to all participants, speakers and exhibitors for making the good atmosphere, asking interesting questions and connecting during WADC 2025. We are now uploading the recordings in the digital platform – and they will soon be available to watch. We hope to see you in 2027!

We know that many of you have startet your journey from all over the world to get to Lund and WADC 2025! We hope it goes smoothly and safe.
WADC start allready on Thursday with Competitive Swimming and on Friday with Learn to Swim and Diving We are ready to welcome you!
Our registration desk at Scandic Star Hotel will be open the following times:
Thursday 9th Jan: 11.30-16.00
Friday 10th Jan: 08.30-12.00
From Friday after lunch the registration desk will be an information desk that will be open during all longer breaks (coffee break and lunch).
For program and more information use our digital platform - all participant (both digtial and on-site) should have recieved an email with information about how to get access. This was sent out in the end of December. If you can`t find it email us at [email protected]

We are happy to present Maniu Dragoș Adrian as a new abstract presenter at WADC Learn to Swim. The title of his abstract is: "Water Accommodation in Children with Cerebral Palsy (CP)". The abstract is written together with Maniu Emese Agnesa.
Maniu Dragoș Adrian is a distinguished academic and professional in the field of physical education, sports science, and physical therapy. He has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, "Babeș-Bolyai" University, Cluj-Napoca, since 2015, following a tenure as an assistant professor from 2008 to 2015. His expertise is rooted in theoretical disciplines and physical therapy, with a strong focus on neuromotor reeducation and adaptive physical activities.
Dr. Adrian's professional achievements include serving as the second coach of Romania's National Paralympic Swimming Team (2009–2012), where he guided athletes to notable successes, including qualifications for the London 2012 Paralympic Games, multiple medals at the IBSA World Championships (2011), and the European IPC Championships (2011).
With a PHD in Medical Sciences, he has specialized in adaptive hydrotherapy for neuromotor reeducation in children with cerebral palsy. His scholarly work reflects a deep commitment to advancing therapies and interventions for individuals with disabilities.
