After quarantine due to an infection with COVID-19, I finally went to see my first game in the Damallsvenskan 2022: AIK - BK Häcken in Solna. 24 hours after Bayern München announced the departure of Swedish international Sofia Jakobsson, sources close to the outlet The Athletic report on Twitter that the 31 yo Swedish striker will join NWSL franchise San Diego Wave on a 3 year deal. The San Diego Wave is a new NWSL team. Manager is the former English international Casey Stoney. Jakobsson will be a team mate with Alex Morgan, Abby Dahlkemper and Canadian goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan. According to sources San Diego pays a transfer fee of approximately 175,000 $.
