This majestic sea eagle was just spotted soaring high in Vilhelmina.

In Swedish Lapland, nature is not something you observe from a distance. It meets you. Opening you to something vast, wild and alive deep inside.

The eagle moves through the sky as if it belongs to both earth and spirit, carrying that sense of freedom and stillness that defines this land.

And it is also a glimpse of what we return to next year with Whispers of the Wild - a space where women come together in this landscape to slow down, reconnect, and remember something essential beneath the noise of everyday life.

🏔️✨🧡 The light is slowly returning - just a thin line of gold rising above the frozen lake at the retreat house. Everything else is white. Silent. Vast.

Mornings here are still between -20 and -35 degrees. The kind of cold that makes the air crystal clear. The kind of cold that asks you to move slowly. Breathe consciously. Be fully present.

This is the season of quiet strength. Of deep rest beneath the surface. Of trusting that even when everything looks frozen, life is gently preparing its return.

In June we gather here, when the light stretches through the night, to pause, breathe and reset - creating space to return home to yourself.

🏔️✨🧡 Under mystic green skies and wrapped in angel white snow, our retreat house rests in deep winter stillness.

In Sámi tradition, the northern lights were seen as the souls of the departed moving across the sky. In other stories, they were powerful forces who could see and hear the people below.

They were approached with reverence - alive, a presence.

This deep respect for the unseen - for nature as ensouled and conscious - is woven through Sámi cosmology. The sky, the land, the animals, the waters - all are alive, all in relationship.

During our retreat you will learn more about the Sámi traditions and beliefs directly from the local Sámi.
