Why Japan is the Ultimate “Character Class” for Football Academy Kids 🇯🇵⚽️ - Feat Coach Afif, Coach Hiro & Coach Roderick

If you think football is just about scoring goals, the Albirex Academy system will change your mind. It’s a masterclass in raising resilient, respectful, and high-achieving kids. 🏆

Here is why academy parents LOVE the our approach:

1️⃣ The “Whole Person” Philosophy: They don’t just build players; they build citizens. Training often includes off-the-pitch life skills—independence and social responsibility are part of the curriculum. 🧠

2️⃣ Respect as a Foundation: From bowing to the pitch to standing at attention for coaches, players learn that talent is nothing without humility. No “superstar” egos allowed. 🙇‍♂️

3️⃣ Grit over Glitz: The focus is on mental fortitude and “fighting spirit.” It teaches kids to thrive under pressure and never give up—a skill that translates directly to exams! 💪

4️⃣ Academic Priority: In Japan, youth academies work hand-in-hand with schools. Many top pros come through the University system, proving you don’t have to sacrifice grades for goals. 🎓

5️⃣ Extreme Accountability: Players are responsible for their own gear and cleaning their own training areas. No relying on “mummy and daddy” to pack their boots! 👟

6️⃣ Elite Technical Focus: The “Ball-First” methods ensure kids have world-class coordination. It’s about being “thinking players” who solve problems on the fly. 🧩

7️⃣ Global Standards: Training centers (like the JFA Academy) aim for world-class excellence, teaching kids to be confident and “proactive” in any international environment. 🌎

The takeaway? A week in a Japanese football environment builds more than just a better striker—it builds a better kid. 📈✨

𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 🚊

In Japan, millions of commuters board trains and subways everyday, and if you’ve ever been on a train in Japan you know that it’s usually a very orderly and smooth experience. The train etiquette in Japan is very important, trains are almost always on time.

Here are some of the Japanese train etiquettes:

1. Don't take up too much space.
2. Keep the volume or noise as minimal as possible.
3. Put your phone on mute.
4. Offer your seat to someone who might need it.
5. Get on the train in turn & don't rush onto the train.
6. Don't eat and drink.
7. Don't litter.
8. Don’t place bags on seats.
9. Be considerate.
10. Refrain or excuse yourself when making a phone call.

The more we be considerate, understanding, respectful and well mannered, the nicer our environment will be!

Guess our squad is not only learning on field but off field as well!
