I help Elite Professionals like Executives, Project Managers, Entrepreneurs, and Consultants... to lose up to 30kg of fat in 6 months sustainably and keep it off permanently without hardcore workouts or diets.

If you cycle between weight loss and weight gain, and struggle to stick to your diet, this story is for you. Just a few months ago, my client faced the same challenges - worried about the scale, struggling to maintain weight loss, and frustrated with weight gain.

However, after joining my coaching program, everything changed. Recently, he attended several events, causing his weight to reach 60.5kg, about 2kg more than before.

In the past, his knee-jerk reaction would be to drastically cut back on food or even starve himself to see the number on the scale drop. But now, things are different. Instead of harsh diets, he chose to be mindful about his eating habits.

The result? His weight decreased to 58.5kg in just one week. It's important to note that not all of the 2kg were fat; weight fluctuates due to various factors.

The real success lies in his shift from quick fixes to sustainable approaches. Losing weight is about becoming healthier and fitter, not just weighing less. Rapid weight loss can lead to muscle loss, a slower metabolism, and nutrient deficiencies, ultimately setting you back.

On the other hand, gradual weight loss through consistent, healthy choices fosters lasting changes and a healthier relationship with food.

This transformation story emphasizes that sustainable weight loss doesn't require starvation or quick fixes. If you're discouraged in your own weight loss journey, remember this story. Positive changes are within your reach, and they don't have to involve extreme deprivation.

If you know someone trapped in unhealthy diet cycles, share this story with them. It may provide the motivation they need to make healthier choices.

I hope this helps!

I'm always preaching this - consistency is key. You can have the best workout clothes, the best diet plan, and even form... but without consistency, without doing it when you need to, you will never see the change.

Press on! I believe in you.

Well, you’re not alone.

A client of mine is a senior financial consultant and between meeting clients, team members, and friends… he felt like being healthy is impossible.

For years he has tried many different diets and methods - from juicing, intermittent fasting, zero carbs…

It’s no wonder when we first met to talk about his health and fitness, he was reasonably jaded and sceptical if he could even make a change.

But fast forward a few months later, he has since lost close to 8kg, lost the big belly, and people around him are complimenting him for his transformation.

The key to a successful transformation is having a sustainable nutrition approach that is flexible and even enjoyable. It shouldn’t be filled with restrictions and hard rules that create unnecessary stress.

Now my client (and even his friend), are making great progress with how they look and feel, while still enjoying social events and meals without fear of weight gain or falling back to square one.

This isn’t just about a physical transformation, but an important change in mindset that sets my client free from “dieting stress”.

I believe that we already have so many responsibilities with our careers and beyond, and our health and fitness shouldn’t add to that but should relieve us.

If there’s one thing you take out of today’s post, I hope that it reminds you that becoming healthier and fitter isn’t about sacrificing your relationship with food.

Instead, it’s about fostering a better understanding and making choices that support your unique needs while still enjoying life’s pleasures.

If you're facing a similar struggle just like how my client did, remember, the right approach to nutrition isn't 'one-size-fits-all'. It should be personalized, enjoyable, and above all, sustainable.

Quote of the Day ‼️

You don't have to get it perfect.

Work on having more ✅s than ❌s...

CONSISTENCY over the long haul is the most important.

Didn't you do what you needed to do yesterday? Make it happen today or at the EARLIEST opportunity possible.

You are not seeing results with your workouts, because you’re not doing what most fit people do, read on to see if you are committing one of the worst mistakes a beginner can make when trying to get fit...

Most beginners are either lifting too light for fear of being too bulky or getting injured, or lifting too heavy to ‘maximise the session’ or exhausting themselves unnecessarily.

But before we delve into finding your 'sweet spot,' there's a crucial factor to consider - your form.

And what does lifting with ‘good form’ really mean?

It means executing each exercise correctly to what’s optimal for your body, engaging the right muscles, and maintaining control throughout the movement.

Good form isn't just about effectiveness; it's also about your safety. Incorrect form can lead to injuries.

[In the attached video of me doing the Incline Chest Press, you can see how I've set up for safety, ensuring maximal chest engagement, with a challenging yet manageable weight.]

Now, if you're lifting with good form, how do you find this 'sweet spot' in terms of weight?

The answer isn't as straightforward as one might think, and it varies from person to person. But generally, the 'sweet spot' is a weight that you can lift with good form for a set number of reps (typically I like the 8 to 15 rep range for most clients).

Remember this gym-goers' mantra, “leave your ego at the door”. The last few reps should be challenging but not to the extent of compromising your form.

There's no rush to max out the machines or lift the heaviest dumbbells. Building a stronger, fitter body is a progressive process.

This means that you can start with a manageable weight, and progressively increase as you get stronger.

Remember: prioritise your form over weight!

PS: If you're uncertain about your lifting techniques, it's okay to ask for guidance. Just recently, an Instagram follower sent me a video of his deadlift.

A few quick suggestions later: we've potentially sidestepped a back injury. So if you need a hand with your form, feel free to reach out.

Handling major life changes can feel overwhelming and challenging, but with the right mindset and approach, you can navigate through them successfully. Here are some steps to help you handle the major changes you have to make in your life:

1. Acknowledge your emotions: Major changes often come with a range of emotions, including excitement, fear, uncertainty, and even sadness. It's important to give yourself permission to feel these emotions and acknowledge that they are a natural part of the process. Take time to reflect on how you're feeling and be gentle with yourself during this transition.

2. Break it down into smaller steps: Dealing with a major change can be less overwhelming when you break it down into smaller, manageable steps. Identify the specific actions or decisions that need to be made and create a plan of action. By focusing on one step at a time, you can make progress towards your goals and feel a sense of accomplishment along the way.

3. Maintain a positive mindset: Choose to focus on the opportunities and positive aspects that major changes can bring rather than dwelling on the challenges. Practice gratitude for the lessons learned and the growth that comes with embracing change. Affirmations and visualization exercises can also help reinforce a positive mindset and attract favourable outcomes.

Remember, handling major changes is a journey, and it takes time and patience. Trust in yourself, embrace the process, and have faith that you have the strength and resources within you to navigate through these changes successfully.

Read that again.

For you to start seeing the changes in life, you have to be the change.
Make the change.

Take the stairs instead of the life.
Opt for no sugared drinks instead of 50% sugar level.
Squeeze in 15 minutes of workout instead of telling yourself you'll do it tomorrow.

Make the change and then you'll change.
