We impart oceanic skills, instil resilience and teach youths to simply let actions do the talking

This race didn’t end at the finish line.

Different states. Different waters. One teknikal surf arena.

The ocean doesn’t care where you’re from. It exposes how you read water, decide under pressure, and recover when it breaks down.

Three nations, one heritage, one race.

The sea once connected our people. Last weekend, it connects our paddlers. Same currents, same challenges, same spirit.

Rough conditions greeted us on race day. For safety, the Technical distance race was reduced. Same spirit, same challenge, and a shared respect for the sea.

From the same sea, we rise together.

Long before modern borders, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore were bound as one region by sea, trade, and kinship.

This race honours that common heritage and celebrates the enduring bonds of fellowship between our three nations.

In recognition of this legacy, participation for this year is reserved for athletes from Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore.

Rooted in our shared beginnings, the State of Origin Teknikal Race hereby presents our winners in the 1km Teknikal SPRINT Category.

Desaru race success. Our paddlers surfed the waves and made their mark.

Shoutout to our young supporters who stepped up, collecting wood and lighting the fire that carried us into the night. Big thanks to Ean for taking over the grill when we were still hungry for more.

Race was a huge success and was a good learning for everyone participating, organising or supporting.

Specifal shoutout to our young supporters who stepped up, collecting wood and lighting the fire that carried us into the night. Big shoutout to Ean for taking over the grill when we were still hungry for more.

Amazing BBQ wings!

Decent start to 2026. Podium finishes across Men’s Open, Women’s Open, and U18 Juniors at the Singapore Canoe Marathon. Still, being edged out by Team Indonesia in every race is a clear reality check for SG SUP.

The gap has always been there. If we want different outcomes in 2026, we need different inputs from today onward.

Starts and turns on fire today.

It’s never “just a turn”, we break it down, build it up, then hit it full speed (or we try haha).

Every stroke is intentional. Every movement has a purpose.

Thinking hard when you’re low on oxygen? That’s the grind.
