A celebration of its kind 🎉
We celebrated Global Running Day - not by chasing pace, distance, or personal bests, but by celebrating something meaningful for us.
Connection.
People of different ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels came together to move, breathe, laugh, and enjoy the simple pleasure of being outdoors.
Some walked.
Some jogged.
Some ran.
Each at their own pace. ( Best pace is your own pace ✌🏼)
Because wellness isn’t about keeping up with others. It’s about honouring where you are and taking the next step forward.
As we moved along the beautiful coastline, conversations flowed, friendships formed, and nature reminded us of something we often forget in our busy lives -doing it right, boosts wellness.
A gentle walk.
A mindful run.
A meaningful conversation.
A moment of gratitude.
Following a process empower’s mind and body.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this celebration so special.
Here’s to moving with purpose, connecting with community, and creating a life of sustainable wellbeing - one step at a time. 💛
What does meaningful movement mean to you?

Today’s practice was about honouring the joy of big moments of motherhood that till today feel magical and it was also about honouring the real struggles, some of which might be shared in your trusted circles and some of which would have been faced silently.
From the macro view , the journey of being a mom has added depth to our personalities and has transformed our perspectives.
As you would look back, 15-20 years ago , you would have been a different person than what you experience yourself, today.
Today is about honouring that journey, being grateful towards our children, our parents and being grateful for the universal nurturing energies.
It’s also about aligning our energies, connecting with ourselves and building psychological and physical strength and resilience in our mind and muscles.
Today’s practice was a unique blend of functional fitness and yoga. We might or might not know knitting , Quilting and Embroidery, but we definitely can do push ups, transition from crunches to table top and mountain reach, do a smooth chaturanga and slide gracefully into adho mukha.
Kudos to each one who showed up and smiled! Happy Mother’s Day 💖

Stress after 40 doesn’t always come from one big problem.
It builds quietly, through responsibilities, relationships, work pressure, ageing parents, household demands, and concerns for children.
And over time, this chronic stress begins to affect something many people overlook, recovery.
When recovery is not supported, the body starts to show signs.
You may notice:
• Feeling tired even after rest
• Poor sleep or waking unrefreshed
• Tight shoulders, headaches, or body aches
• Brain fog or low motivation
• Increased cravings or irregular hunger
• Feeling emotionally overwhelmed
This isn’t just fatigue, it’s often a nervous system under constant stress.
Scientifically, prolonged stress raises cortisol levels, which can:
• Slow muscle recovery
• Affect metabolism
• Disrupt hunger hormones
• Increase fat storage, especially around the abdomen
• Reduce inner clarity and emotional calm
This is why recovery practices after 40 are not optional, they are essential.
Recovery includes:
🌿 Movement that supports the body
🌿 Strength training that builds resilience
🌿 Breathwork that calms the nervous system
🌿 Yoga that restores mobility
🌿 Stillness that rebuilds clarity
Ageing isn’t the problem.
Unaddressed recovery is.
🌿 Recovery is healing.
If this resonates with you, save this post as a reminder,
because caring for yourself is not selfish, it is necessary.

Tata Mumbai Marathon, 42.195kms, running through the iconic Mumbai landmarks, the Coastal Road, Worli Sea Link, Babulnath, Siddhi Vinyak, the dreaded Peddar Road, running a few steps along with Milind Soman and have my personal best Marathon time.
What I was observing in these iconic structures was its strong foundation. The unseen is more important than what meets the eye. Just like our mind and bodies. The daily work, the baby steps that go into making the mind and body stronger with consistent actions.
Thank You to my friends who contributed towards raising funds for .ngo , a Ngo who works for good health and wellbeing for all.
Thank You for your guidance.
TMM was a unique experience in many ways. My parents came to the finish line and post run I took a train back home just like how I used to do when I was working in Mumbai.
I am glad that I stood at the start line.
