SMA Kickboxing

Last week, Coach Nazri represented Team Singapore at the 2025 WAKO World Senior and Masters Championships in Abu Dhabi.

Coach Nazri has fought valiantly, beating USA by a huge score margin in the first round of the championships. Unfortunately, he came up short and was defeated by Bulgaria by only a single point from the judges' scorecard. It was such a close fight as he was leading in the score cards in Rounds 1 & 2, and Coach Nazri fought as hard as he could throughout the entire fight.

Nevertheless, it was such an amazing effort, and he has earned the respect of his competitors and coaches from around the world. We are proud of him for everything he has done coming to this tournament. His journey to this year's World Championships has truly been inspiring, and we are proud to have him as our coach.

It is amazing to see how our athletes come together and help each other throughout the competition. Through all the hours of hard training, they have built a sense of camaraderie amongst each other. They all have risen to the occasion and never hesitated to help a fellow teammate in need.

Our kickboxers had the opportunity to showcase their skills at the recent Kickboxing Invitationals that were held a couple of weeks ago. We are proud to see how far they all have come in their kickboxing journey. All the hard work and dedication have definitely paid off.

Regardless of the outcome of their matches, they have displayed a ton of heart and left everything on the mats. We are looking forward to seeing how much further they will progress and where they will go from here.

We would also like to thank Kickboxing Federation of Singapore for sanctioning and officiating our Kickboxing Invitationals.
