2024 presented significant challenges for para Athletics in Singapore. Some dominant forces within the sporting landscape have demonstrated a concerning tendency to disregard the existence and vital role of the Para Athletics (Singapore), PAS. This disregard is alarming since 2023, as it stems from a fundamental misunderstanding or willful ignorance of PAS's core mission and the unique value it brings to the development of para Athletics in our nation.
It is crucial to remember that PAS was founded on a set of deeply held principles and a genuine philosophy dedicated to empowering para athletes in Athletics. These principles guide every aspect of our work and ensure that the rights and needs of para-athletes remain at the forefront of all our endeavours.
Despite these challenges, PAS remains steadfast in its commitment to serving as the authentic and dedicated voice for para Athletics in Singapore. We are the only organisation solely focused on the development and advancement of para Athletics within our nation.
PAS extends its sincere gratitude to all our volunteers, parents, coaches, educators, technical officials and the wider community of para Athletics enthusiasts who have consistently supported our mission and believed in our vision.
As we move forward into the new year, PAS remains resolute in its pursuit of excellence. We are committed to continuing our steady progress in developing para Athletics in Singapore and ensuring that every para-athlete has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Food for thought: PAS is the sole authentic organisation dedicated to para Athletics in Singapore. We are the true specialists in this field, and we are the only body truly committed to the advancement of para Athletics in Singapore.
May the New Year bring happiness, health, and blessings to everyone.

The PACER Meet is a special event where athletes with and without disabilities compete together.
In this year's third edition, we are excited to introduce new categories for athletes under the age of 11 and 13. We warmly invite local clubs, organizations, and individuals to join us in this meet. We are also thrilled to welcome para-athletes and able-bodied athletes from the ASEAN region.
A key aspect of the PACER Meet is providing a platform for both able-bodied and para-athletes to compete alongside each other. This allows them to inspire and motivate one another, pushing the limits of their performance. This inclusivity creates a higher level of competition among our para-athletes.
You can participate in this inclusive event by visiting the website:
