Singapore Pools FA Cup After the Singapore Cup and League Cup, the Singapore FA Cup is the next major cup competition in Singapore.
Teams from the Prime League and the National Football League take part in the knock out competition. The FA Cup was contested by Singapore’s top-flight teams from 1995 to 1998 but after that it was decided clubs who played in the S.League should no longer participate in that competition. The Dollah Kassim Award, aimed at aspiring young talent, is an initiative by The New Paper, in partnership with the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) and Singapore Pools. Ammirul Emmran won the award last year is on a 2 week training stint with The Newcastle United Youth Academy
