Badminton training for kids (Primary 1 and above). We teach our students proper footwork and technique.
Backhand hard dropshot. When you are pinned to the backhand back corner, hitting a far dropshot is less punishable than a soft dropshot, because of the speed of the shuttle. Even a high quality soft dropshot near the net can be punished because the opponent will have time to move towards the net and take it high near the tape.
3 sets of 12 reps front court footwork. When you leap for the last step, make sure both feet are off ground. Leap high (raise your right knee for more distance)
Full court doubles back court attack vs half court defense drill. Attacking player work on placing the shuttle down, no rising shots. And wait patiently for the opportunity to smash. Defending player work on moving the opponent around the back and mid court area.
