🥈 A Valiant Run for Loh Kean Yew 🥈

Loh Kean Yew finished as runner-up at the KFF Singapore Badminton Open 2026 after a hard-fought men’s singles final against Alex Lanier.

Backed by a passionate home crowd, Loh took the opening game 21-17 and looked poised for a memorable title run, but Lanier claimed the next two games 21-15, 21-14 to secure the championship.

It wasn’t the result Loh was hoping for, but reaching the final on home soil and delivering another week of high-quality badminton is a testament to his determination and fighting spirit. Thank you for giving the fans so many moments to cheer for throughout the tournament. ❤️🇸🇬

🏆 Mixed Doubles Champions 🏆

Denmark’s Mathias Christiansen and Alexandra Bøje capped off a superb week in Singapore with a victory over Japan’s Yuichi Shimogami and Sayaka Hobara. With sharp attacking play and strong chemistry on court, Christiansen and Bøje held their nerve in the big moments to secure the championship and add another impressive result to their 2026 campaign.
